My current thoughts are Salad/CC as one possible scum team, or Nav and, by some process of elimination, MJL. (SE's still seem pretty Townie to me so far) Nav attacking Salad doesn't seem like SvS to me. I know the first scenario is in contradiction with the me/Nav one on/off, but eh, the best I got so far.

No we are on the same page here. Fwiw I think Nav tried to set up a play today that contradicts and pressure there is much obliged.

Honestly Nav seemed Townie to me as well, his ISO posts did at least. I understand how him pressuring SE's can be seen as Scum, but since I'm also one of the people frustrated because I have no idea what's going on, I'm not sure I can hold that against him

Well that's the thing. I don't know for sure but I made the assumption the teams could be salad/CC or one on one off meaning some combination of those two slots with you or nav.

I'm still trying to slim down the likely combinations to make the best decision I can. And I think Nav covers most of the bases.

The only thing that gives me pause is that Vedith didn't really greenlight a scumread on Nav and I feel he would have had a better read on Nav than me. It's why I kind of pressed Vedith to focus there.

Town:

ClearlyClarity is cautious, and voting with her gut. I think she’s taking stabs in the dark and scum!Clarity would stab with more precision. (unless she’s scum in which case her stabs in the dark are staged!)

Town:

TTTT is conducting himself as his usual self and I see he’s putting out tests and feelers to try to indirectly get reads on people. Scum!TTTT would already know who’s who.

Provisional Town:

Datisi seems like she’s genuinely new, she’s genuinely feeling the game out and I think if she was scum, she’d be getting coached behind the scenes. I see no reason to be suspicious here with the information I have on hand.

Possible Scum:

thenavneet can be scum but I’m seeing a stronger case for Saladman. Really, thenaveet is on the edges of my radar at the moment because I’m more focused on RCE and Saladman.

Possible Scum:

RCEnigma has some interactions with Saladman that I wasn’t too keen on. Would RCE and Saladman distance themselves in RVS by voting for each other? I didn't like the foreshadowing with the Vedith NK. Newbscum wouldn't know to vote for Vedith. I also don't like the mechanical town read on TTTT. Looked like trying to gain towncred to me. Looking back on it, these reads seem odd. TTTT and Voted are scummy and Saladman (Saladfinger?) is null. It doesn't sit right with me.

Rough early reads would be something like:

Saladman27 is not putting a lot of effort forward in the game. I would like to think that if RCEnigma was a scum partner to Saladman that he’d be coaching Saladman much better than this (which opens the door to a newb partner if Salad flips red). Ultimately, 3 other people had their vote on Salad when I got here, he’s been sitting at L-1 for days, no counter wagon has emerged, and when I joined the group, no one unvoted knowing that I could come in and hammer any time I wanted. I think everyone on that wagon is town. 3 people in this group were already pretty sure it’s Saladman and that carries a lot of weight with me. I’ve been here half a day and I’m about to eclipse him in post counts. So yeah. Scum read.

I should clarify my reads: *If* Saladman flips red, everyone on that wagon is town. Even TTTT who unvoted, but I think that was just one of his TTTTests. He had plenty of time to unvote earlier.

So my issue was 1.) The 1 on 1 off theory and 2.) That salad was just newbtown being run up for a mislynch. I would think having salad as a partner would push the remaining scum to get hyperactive to make up the slack but that may be faulty logic, it just comes down to playstyle and I believe both scum are new players.

The readslist helps a lot actually and I'm willing to hammer salad. This game is solved fmpov by tomorrow.
