Looking more at alch, my big issue with him recently is he seems to be playing in such a way that his thought process is heavily obfuscated.

e.g. 1441, where when asked why he thinks i should be the lynch, he cites "a lot of people" thinking i've been manipulative, and then cites those people without giving any original thoughts of his own.
e.g. 1447, where I asked him about his change on bins, and he mentions that his discussion with bins made him stop leaning towards her but that discussion was presumably 918, and he mentioned thinking bins was still his primary suspect more recently than that and i really have no idea if he's town where his thought process on the two of us is coming from. It seems like he's just picking someone to be the person that he wants to push out of convenience.

Funny thing is that your buddying of bins was an original thought of mine. I said something first and bins saw it too. I’ve had a lot of original thoughts that are there for anyone who wants to ISO me. I just don’t like repeating myself so that’s why the explanation to Zito was short and sweet.

I'm concerned that it's more of a matter of playstyle than intentional obfuscation but I'll admit this is a pretty flimsy defence. His presence and posting in this game are a lot more substantial and provocative and momentous than they were last time but this also isn't a reason to townread him heavily

I still don't see how alch's read progression of not feeling strongly on me and calling bins scum -> me voting him -> him starting to express skepticism of me, calling me a 2nd choice behind bins -> a wagon forms on me -> he votes me, and then calls me "still the best way to go" (despite not ever saying that he thought i was a better choice than bins before this)

i don't see how any of that is anything other than scum doing whatever is convenient. Like, especially abandoning his bins scumread (or at least saying he isn't leaning towards her anymore) at the last step is just so convenient, especially since the thing that he's claiming to have abandoned it based on happened *before* he said that bins was his 1st choice and i was his 2nd choice (unless i'm misinterpreting that, but i'm pretty sure that's what he was referring to).

RC once told me my Townposting is a lot more thoughtful than my scum posting, which is what I was trying to copy in SC2 because Gamma also knows me really well.

I think zor's general stubbornness (both in action and tone) in the face of near constant pressure is significant
In that i think thats likely to come from town
But also he seems like the type to do that as scum
And his personality usually makes him come across more formally in discussion setting which could contribute to that

If we're going to circle back to something I think Elsa would remain at the top of my wishlist.

Proper scum!zor play from my perspective the last few pages was to just keep his mouth shut. And maybe he knows that and is subverting it, so I don't know. Like from the standpoint of zor being scum, the path of least resistance was to back Penguin's move. (like Elsa did, although I think it makes them look worse, and at least for me, doesn't put them as scum together).

Why Elsa? I know you’re prob given a stance and reason before, but for me I just don’t see anything that would make me go ‘oh yeah Elsa is scum.’ I just don’t think Elsa plays the game like this as scum
