Spoiler:
It's mostly these posts, obviously they can actually be good and I'm making a mistake Orz. if I have to be honest, I was wavering between voting Godmid and Marcus, but Marcus had no votes if I can recall? So I wanted a slight reaction just to get something and actually vote someone. What about you and your stuff?- the worst

I actually find myself mostly agreeing with him - it's hard to have confident scumreads in this gamestate because I think everyone is actually playing in fairly good faith.
Even though I transparently scumread the arguments Godmid for example has been laying down, I really appreciate that he's been posting a fair bit and presenting actual cases. So I can understand not agreeing with my PoEish scumreads there on day one tbh- the worst

There's not much to explain. Reads are tonal, with Ryno and Marcus having the most pings (forced/unnatural reactions, non-town alligned agendas,).
Teh wus gives that genuine 1905 IC vibe, and not the choo choo vibe.
Lavender/DENMON/Godmid have town vibes (ie, not Ryno/Marcus vibes), and their "anti-town" actions don't fall off newb!town range for me.
Urap town vibe, but I don't agree with his reads or too much emphasis on intro-tells.
Shosho's a bit mixed, but I'll talk about that later.
Besides tone-reads, I just feel that the current wagons are half RVS, half halfarsed (Lavender/Godmid) and that D1 has been TvT with scum sitting on the sidelines, with people's scumreads developing from newb!town mistakes, rather than genuine scum motives.- u r a person 2

The second one I didn't really understand, what's the statement about? "I agree with this statement, but not the latter", what's the latter here?
Ok, finally the third one. I'm not sure what 1905 IC vibe and choo choo vibe are. The amount of misspellings confused me. But, It didn't feel too scummy, but I wouldn't say too much town either.- the worst

The back and forth between myself and TW seems like it's just stagnating at this point and it mostly is just going to be retreading old ground and I don't want to be stuck in a situation where I'm just conversing with a single player every post. However, I think that the way you've been framing my argument TW is completely unfair.
I am painfully aware of the possibility that both you and urap2 are town and that the entire basis for my read is incorrect. This type of D1 reading is something that I haven't done much for a very long time and, regardless of how this game goes, I am going to be treating it as a learning experience. However, I am ultimately trying to base my vote off of what makes the most sense to me. As I said before, I don't at all want to gain a reputation as someone who just places a retaliatory vote on anyone that suspects them. However, in this specific circumstance, I found the nature of train against me to be suspicious, as I tried to explain with the previous argument. If anyone wants any of those points clarified, I will. Two players coming up with the same reads makes a lot of sense if they are either taking the same approach or picking up on genuine scumminess. If you want to try and argue that you are both taking the same approach, please go for it, but it really does not seem to be the case. From my point of view, I know that both of your reads are partially, if not completely, incorrect which makes me highly skeptical of the second part. Without those two factors, it all seems very dubious. In post 267, the worst wrote:I don't think it's fair that you consider that just because urap and I took different approaches to reaching the same two main scumreads there is necessarily scum amongst us. On the contrary I think you digging in your heels here when we're obviously absolutely different players comes from someone who's been caught out peddling a lie and needs to back it up.
I'm really sorry if you're town and I'm tragically misreading you but I'm finding my brow furrowing every time I read your posts. I don't think your assertions are fair & reasonable, or coming from a perspective of trying to find scum. the fact you can't identify a concrete scumtell or scum motivation amongst {urap, me} yet insist there must be scum here because we reached a similar conclusion in different ways is flooring me.
Do I think that there is a decent chance that you or urap2 are scum? Yes? Do I know this? No. Am I saying that "there is necessarily scum" amogst you? No. Am I "inisiting there must be scum here"? No. This is what I see as the most compelling reasoning towards finding scum. It might end up being incorrect, but it seems like most new players here are uncertain with their reads and attempting to present my case as disregardable due to the lack of a "concrete scumtell" (scum motivation for trying to dictate the lynch should be clear) very much seems like an attempt to hold my argument to a higher standard then anyone else's.
I haven't committed to focusing on you on urap2. This is because due to my lack of on site experience, even if my beliefs do hold weight, I'm not entirely sure how to approach differentiating you, hense why I was interested in the opinions of the other SE players. Suggesting that I'm not trying to determine which of you is town and which of you is mafia if my theory is correct is simply untrue.
I also have no idea what you're referring to with the "lies I've been peddling".- Godmid

To quickly go over my opinions on the other 6 remaining players:
Urist - I'm not sure if I agree with all of his reads, but it does seem like he is making a genuine effort to find the scum and I lean town a fair bit on the slot.
Shoshin - Has gone super lurky so it's hard to comment much on her. I'm still going to stand by my initial assessment and lean town on her for the time being.
Ryno - I'll try to make a fuller case as to why I lean town on him later, but the general idea is that I found the way he oppened to be very bold and not at all what I would expect from someone new to FMs if they rolled mafia.
Lavendar - Pretty null from my point of view. My earlier vote against her was largely a reaction test, even though I did have a bit of a mafia lean at that point in the game. At this point, I'm really not sure in her case, even though the events surrounding her waggon, including the defense given by some players, may prove useful later on once there is more information to go with it.
Denmon - I don't particularly like his reaction to the greeting tell situation and he's been more wishy-washy with his reads then I would expect from someone with FM experience. Having said that, I don't have much of a read on him. I think there's a high chance he is town if either TW or urap2 end up being scum and a high chance he's mafia if those two are both town and the case I've been making is unfounded. I don't really want to consider the scenario that Denmon, urap2 and TW are all green and that the game has largely just been town at each others throats.
Marcus - After the early game, he's someone who ended up just being on the edge of vision for me. He spent a lot of time asking questions which seemed like they were attempts at deductions, but it never really seemed like he went that far with them and he remained relatively non-commited. I am going to read through him again before deciding anything conclusive.- Godmid

Ok, this is probably going to look pretty suspicious cause I'm kind of going to be changing my behavior. I'm honestly not liking the way I am playing myself, since I am normally pretty aggressive and attempt to vote out the people that I really want to be lynched. I guess cause I'm not used to the environment, I'm playing a bit more cautiously. I'm also going to be restarting my thinking completely because I actually took the time to reread most stuff since I am doubting my reasoning more than I am actually supporting them.In post 299, brassherald wrote:Post
HERE ARE MY READS:
In general, I reminded myself that the reds want to lay low so they don't get voted out. This doesn't mean that they are posting less, but that they are making too many agreeable posts.
Lavender - Maybe Green - I'm getting a pretty green vibe from Lavender's posts. Plus Lavender got a good amount of votes and suspicion at one point, but there wasn't really anyone defending him. I would think that someone, even if that person would be green, would say something. I also agree with his suspicion on Marcus325 in that the reasoning is valid.
Marcus325 - Eh - Like I said above, I agree with Lavender on his suspicion. Now it is just a matter of deciding if it means he is red or not. I think by process of elimination, it isn't too far off of a guess.
DENMON - Very green
Ryno56 - Green - I think he is too aggressive to be a red. His attack on Lavender would gather a lot of attention, which is something a red would not like to have.
Godmid - Green - He is very determined in trying to convince others that u r a person 2 and the worst is red, and I think if he was red, he would be a bit less determined, you know?
PvtUrist - Maybe Green - I like how he made a list like this and gave his thoughts on it which is a reason why I think he is probably a green. The issue is that there wasn't actually much thought. He listed what alignment people were on, but didn't give much thought to say why. I would think that maybe he would put a little more effort as a green.
Shoshin - Maybe Green? - I would think if he was red, he would be a bit more active. He said "oh the reds are so obvious, do you see it" (not a direct quote, didn't bother to find it). This is bit of a careless move to say then just leave it for people to question. Red would probably want to be more careful.
the worst - Maybe Green - After I reread everything, I think he is a bit too active to be red. I've made some posts against the worst but now that I reread everything, I'm having my doubts. Actually I'm kinda regret posting it, as my reasoning seems a bit silly. Normally when I start doubting stuff, it means I am attacking a green. So I'm just going to go with my gut and say the worst is maybe green.
u r a person 2 - Eh - He seems off. I think what is happening is that u r a person 2 is using the worst to make all his defenses and reads for him, then not really give much thought to us until the worst asks him a question. Something isn't sitting well with me here, even if he is giving good replies like with what he said about Lavender. Because of this, I think he is actually trying to lay low, and he is doing well.
I think Marcus 325 is a good choice, but u r a person 2 is a better choice.
I know shifty behavior - red alarms. Vote me out if you have to, but I'm actually kind of confident on this, which I never was since I joined
