problem is: if godmid/denmon is a mislynch you've opened yourself to a n1 kill which positions my slot awkwardly

sure, i guess the problem is you're explaining exactly how i feel and expecting it to play into a wolf agenda

this game has been fairly low content, so i haven't felt the need to heavily case and powertown. attempts to have real-time engagements have been (mostly) pretty quiet
you know i don't put much stock in holistic tells. you're welcome to use the greeting tell, and if it's >rand (75%+ scum) then i see no reason to bite people for using it. it's just slightly -fun imo which is why i generally don't go far down that rabbit hole

i think i scumcased the slots i'm scumreading outside of your greeting tell stuff and i feel better about us having reached the same conclusion given your scumcase sans greeting tell a couple of pages back

I'm happy to overexplain anything I've said, and any interactions I've had -- helps you get a better idea of what's going through my head + how I'm interpreting what the person I'm interacting with is saying.

This stuff will help you learn which is the #1 goal. But it can also help with the game at hand. So don't worry about posting a "the fuck are you guys waffling about?"

I haven’t actually checked but my guess is that if you go into completed newby games, the worst was a Town!IC (a special ‘teaching’ SE role that has since been retired) in game 1905. Choo choo I take as a reference to scum joining a town wagon. But I’m just sharing how I read this.

Ordinarily I’d scumread Sho as a reaction test but I feel pretty good about my early game read and think scum!sho doesn’t disappear like this. At least they didn’t as 3D party so I would say it is real life, but with the effect of strengthening rafher than weakening my gut.

Btw I’ll echo two and uraps thoughts on each other : I townread both, but I have seen both powerscum like this. For me their activity levels always merit a day one pass, and tbh I’m quite comfortable with BoPing them as the game progresses.

*BoP=burden of proficiency. If a good and widely townread player makes it to lylo without having driven a scum lynch, that should be cause for re-evaluation. Some treat this as a fallacy, I treat it as fair. Ymmv.

the three of us played a game where TW was scum and railroaded a lynch through in a couple hours. Shoshin was in the game as well, but never got the opportunity to post.

Urist was saying that TW didn't feel like he did in that game.
