This was my soft. In middle school, they teach you to write paragraphs in a hamburger format, with the actual arguments and shit inside the buns. Taly and RC were the buns to my two real scum reads. At the time, I thought both were pretty clear town, and the only way they wouldn't be night killed ASAP is if they were scum read by a pretty loud and experienced player, and I didn't want to be left alive with the responsibility of solving this game because I'm closer to flaking out than wanting to put actual effort in.

If you're town, you have the LOWEST amount of good faith in gamesolving and Town PRs that I've seen in a long while.
If you're scum, you knew this would happen.

First of all, I unvoted when I saw his official claim, so miss me with that bullshit. I have close to 0 faith in the ability of gamesolving of most people here, and statistically most forum mafia players have =rand reads so that's backed up. I'm sure he would have played his PR fine if he went uncommented on, and he still might get to. The thing is, he was playing terribly, and softing repeatedly. I play games like they are almost mountainous, and don't shoot for PRs at all - for example, last game I was scum we were informed town had a cop in 3 players, and I wanted to shoot RC instead because he was the townie doing the best that game. If I noticed his multiple softs, I can guarantee almost any scum team did. That means him being "outed" if town doesn't matter. I pushed his lynch further on policy, because letting PRs not play the game well and rely on their softs is not how they should be playing in an open game like this at all. If he was scum, there is equity in fake softing PR there, because people might pick up on it and move their votes. Later in the game, you can either argue you were trying to eat the bullet for the real PR, or you can deny those being softs at all. It works a nonzero amount of the time. If I was scum, I would have been quiet and night killed him, but if I was scum this game would be easy. I'd have 8balled a partner, hard bussed them, used my two night kills on RC and Ank assuming they aren't my partners, and autowon in this playerlist. I guess that's WIFOM, but its also stupid to think this is my scum game, so enjoy.

@Mod, what resolves first, the 1-shot repicker or the scum night kill?

If the repicker resolves first, we pick something tomorrow that denies scum a night kill, and then tmck can still use his ability.

Taly has been obv town since page 4-5 and I don't think he's actually hard to read. Nancefloor is pretty lock town. TMCK is the cop. Knowing this was a Boon alt, ConfBias is very town as well, I've played many games with Boon and I don't think ever hard misread them (?). I want to call Ank town too, but I will admit I misread them in that arson game so I'm not super strong on this. Oka, Creature, and Titus are ??, and that's my reads ladder of the not LHF players (imo).

I don't really wolf read Fusc, but I don't have super strong wolf reads in general. This is the kind of game I despise, I should have checked the playerlist before taking my role PM. But I don't want to drag down the mood by whining so I'll knock it off. I would rather sheep RC, who seems to be confident, and help sort him in the process. If I had a confident lynch, I would push that instead, but I don't.

Overkill and Fusc should always be who the lynch is between, imo.

You can have terrible reads and still not be LHF because you never get lynched
