I’m not sure if I really have one? Don’t get me wrong, wagons work as a vehicle to move on from RVS. They’re certainly valid starting points to generate content from players beyond silly reasons. It’s just not something I do. Personally I just start questioning a bunch of things and make it known through my tone that RVS is over for me.

I think some players have experienced scum being a lot more eager and likely to run up wagons than town. Might be the case here for Mary Jo and Redemption.

Also, cdb's 130 call out of mary's 71 is odd to me. How is that anti town? the most I could get from that after rereading over and over, was a slight town tone. because it looks like she's simply wondering about the setup.

Town don't need to work out what the setup is. It doesn't help them determine what they need to do, especially not on Day 1. Town just need to hunt scum. Why would that be how you start the game as town? The priorities are all wrong.

Scum are interested in working out the setup, especially if one or more of them has a role that implies some level of specific interaction with other roles that may or may not be in the game.

Some players are just very analytical. They are more comfortable solving the game through night actions, role claims, and flavor (when applicable). I find that they tend to not trust their gut a whole lot, and aren’t remotely good at finding scum through how they vote or talk to other people, unless they’re interacting with them.

As MJL rightly says, I don't know her, so hard for me to entirely agree with this, but I do think her posting so far could fit as scum who's trying out a few things to say to see if any of them make her look town, without having much of an actual contribution. I'm not super confident, but there's something stilted here that feels uncomfortable.

It is for some players no?
Like several players on this site have an established meta of being lurky lurky while scum and active while town.
Plus "scum equity" does not necessarily = alignment.

However I expect an older player not to vote Mary Jo for that reason.

I'm familiar with pp and I prefer working with people I know more than strangers in a game, and even moreso if I've known them for awhile.

also , how pika can tell nm is slightly town indicative because of his nickname applications, is funny. as someone who's seen & played with nm of both alignments, so far I don't have a good enough read (null) on him.

Additionally she's been asking about rookie questions despite having fm experience already, and denied answering my gamestate+reads question.

I've also removed schadd from my town block as I've gotten a strange feeling from his iso, and from reviewing a newbie town game of his along with my recollection of our town game with rc (who got outraged at us mislynching him sigh). He isn't being as engaging as his town meta in here.

GE I've typically had a ridiculously hard time reading, along with nm. Don't know who the first 3 are though
