Anyway, I had an epiphany last night that has been validated time and time again by my experience in mafia, that I should always trust my initial instincts.

I still think Moon could be scum but him correctly pointing out that having less than 3 coalition members in veto is pointless, makes him less likely to be scum than TD, so I prefer this.

2 scummy coalition members and 2 scummy people (who may or may not be in the coalition) is best.

Choosing a third coalition member over someone truly scummy ruins the point of the veto.

If you're vetoed you're either dead or scum. Don't make it so there's a surviving townie in the veto.

No, veto is pointless unless there’s at least 3 coalition members in it. What if Chemist and Clemency are both town? Having two consensus scumreads doesn’t necessarily prove anything, because they could be a frame. However, we do KNOW for a fact, that there is at least one scum in the coalition and therefore having 3, is extremely likely to net us one. I don’t believe anyone else in the coalition is scum. I think that both Tohru and Titus are mindmelding with me that Creature could be scum and he is the only coalition member of the non-lhfs (Chemist and Clemency) that I am not confident in excluding. Since I strongly tr everyone else in it, I don’t see the point of likely town dying, which I think anyone else in the coalition will. Creature being adamant about not “sacrificing obvtown” but then claiming to be okay with me and Sky dying, didn’t sit too well with me.

Scum is extremely aware of the mechanics and it really is not in their best interests to point this out.

I think Chemist would probably vote for that too.

I think we will find out who’s scum by people opposing having at least 3 coalition members in veto. In any case, I think any coalition that doesn’t have all 3 Cs from the coalition is a mistake. I will very reluctantly support a coalition with PB as the fourth only to avoid coalition fail but I don’t believe PB/Ank is ever scum here, so I definitely don’t prefer it.

Consensus veto is good imo. Our reads are forced to get better.
