Granted, yes, did GET emotional around the 1v1 with Cheeky time, but have been calm most of the game. This is a game I'm genuinely having FUN in. I enjoy posting every time I do. (And sometimes am not posting specifically because I wouldn't enjoy myself if I were--see also, not posting yesterday.)

I said from the start that I thought that my claim for being excited for the game seemed to be the only genuine one, and I mean it still. This is me having that excitement and fun.

Oh, I forgot about that. Extenuating circumstances there. Technically speaking, yes, did claim mason, but did so pretty much explicitly as a joke/reaction test of sorts. In the Channel 48 PT, I said, "hey at least I'm not advocating for treating this thread as a masonry" and then when I claimed mason with BNL, quoted said post and went, "abouuuuuuuut thaaaaaaat......" to it.

It was something which was pretty clearly not a claim meant to be taken seriously for a long time. The people in the neighborhood knew that we weren't masons, and knew that I didn't really intend for us to be seen as masons.

Pretty much agree, actually--while I think Titus is a fairly good scum candidate, there are enough players who I am scumreading much much strongerly than I do her, where going after her is not optimal. Basically, too many people have a higher chance at flipping scum compared to her.

I liked the way they came into the game with those posts just before I called them Town. I think the question about Mastina’s readslist came from a place of a Townie who doesn’t know Mastina, and I also liked post with the list of Townreads because I think they’re Townhunting. Correct me if I’m wrong but they also strike me as someone who’s less experienced and I would expect them to feel a need to vote or push someone around that time if they were scum.

I liked this reasoning, I really did. BUT
Whether or not he really townread us based on these reasoning at that moment when Maika posted, I'm doubtful
It feels like he's being lazy and only loosely following the game, but he comes up with a pretty decent reason to townread a slot mostly null, yeah i dont really know if its real.

Why not? So we can lynch Cheeky because why exactly? I find the whole process of like, "we can't lynch x player yet" to be complete bullshit. What has titus contributed other than sheep mastina who's a maybe possible fake claim mason and certified bad player and make up head canon as to why the vote count happened and make bad jokes about "dark cookies"? How is this of any use to us a town? Lynch the scummy players and lynch the bad players. This "we can't lynch people yet" stuff is bullshit. Mastina claimed mason so I don't mind dropping that but titus hasn't claimed shit and has been a net negative.

Titus has slots like Alisae/Mastina whom haven't pushed against them and probably have meta reasons they won't day 1. You definitely aren't getting the Mason claims support to do so.

Titus also already pushed themselves into a day2/3 claim in a FlavorLeaf kind of way. They haven't claimed the role just softed enough to give them space. Pushing Titus just forces the claim earlier but doesn't actually do anything else, they already have it lined up and it probably doesnt go on to a full lynch.

Because what I did wasn't game-throwing. Claiming mason had a legitimate game purpose; it exposed scum in a way which couldn't be done otherwise. Becoming conftown on D1 is also not inherently a bad thing. Yes, it means that the masons die fairly early on, but that's not inherently a bad thing because I don't trust myself in the lategame anyway and the scum killing me instead of, sayyy, an investigative PR, means that said investigative PR has the time to generate useful results unimpeded. There's actual, provable, game utility in claiming mason, even on D1.

You can disagree with the theory, but from a theory standpoint, it is not unambiguously game-throwing.
