By the way, for the purposes of VCA, TTTT counts as a townflip because the scum had no way of knowing that TTTT wasn't town; as far as they were concerned, TTTT was not aligned with them and therefore they knew TTTT wasn't a scumflip and therefore they 'knew' TTTT was town.

Obviously, tho, as far as D1 flips not on groupscum go, TTTT's about as good of a flip as we can get because it means less town death per night, butyeah. Not what I'd call a scum lynch, because scum thought they were lynching town and were surprised to learn they didn't.

We lynched outside my lynch pool yesterday and my lynch pool remains the same today as a consequence.

Yeah i didnt think it was a scum lynch and also thought that scum knew he wasnt with them. Either way tho with him eating people that wouldn’t of been good for town.

Oh he was not town so town had legitimate reason to scumread him which meant that town players can't be faulted for lynching him because he wasn't strictly speaking a mislynch, but the scum had no reason to KNOW town had legitimate reason to scumread him--in other words, scum had no reason to KNOW scumreads on him were legitimate; as far as the scum were concerned, any of them voting for TTTT would be voting for a mislynch.

Basically it means that there's a slight difference from normal for scumhunting. When you have a proper mislynch, town thought they had legitimate reasons but did not, scum faked reasons they knew weren't legitimate; when you have a lynch on a 3p, town legitimately had legitimate reasons, but critically, scum's reasons were

still faked

. Which is where I'm coming from RE: it being counted closer to being a townflip for VCA.
