i like nero's pushes, and he seems v forthwrite and like he's saying exactly what's on his mind, no matter how unpopular it may be. ie he doesn't seem to be adjusting his posting to make himself more likeable and/or popular and/or to target an audience

Why would scum pick town!vorkuta as a day 1 mislynch? I mean objectively speaking if you were scum here, wouldn't your mind go towards the more lurk-ish people, where it's easier to make a case on? Because that's definitely easier than to go against a player like vorkuta here.

Because you get the loud/good players out of the way early, so you can mislynch the lurky players later with little resistance. You always try to mislynch/kill those with thread presence early.

I guess I'll give Vork this point, it's that people only followed Vork's case when Skitter appeared in the thread and made that case despite me presenting the exact same arguments. THAT is strange.

tbh that fact alone means that if vork is actually town, teacher is probably 100% scum here. And even then that kind of observation makes me think that it could be an equally good lynch for today.

Vork is right that scum can be tempted to sheep skitter, assuming she's town, but the reason they do that is because... town often sheeps skitter.

I don't think sheeping skitter is AI in general, and I don't think teacher sheeping a player he townreads is SI for him in particular.

That being said he's still unreadable so I don't mind pressure there but I wouldn't go like, full crusade mode.

i do think taht if i'm pushing a mislynch it tends to get a lot of traction tho (and then i get spooked by lack of wagon resistance and hop off, it's a whole thing)

since this is a thing i now do sometimes try to bait bad votes tho to see what turns up
none of them were egregiously bad rn i think; teacher's was the worst but not bad enough that i'm going to inherently call him scum for it; like it is a vote that scum can make but it doesn't *exclusively* come from scum if that makes sense

I find that argument really dumb because the argument is the same regardless of who says it. Really, Skitter and I had the same reads but somehow this wagon had Dunn and Teacher actually joined it this time. Dunn had a solid read on Vork but teacher did not. You're going to argue sheeping a player because of their perceived townieness is not at least questionable?

Haven't finished reading and in an emergency meeting with my boss (a workaholic SOB), but yeah I'm pretty confident cinnamon is town or an exceptional actor because that claim and subsequent posts up to him realizing that he does in fact have a modifier and not 2 roles seems very genuine, I don't think that's how lying looks like.

I am still pro-PL'ing millers before lylo so we"ll discuss again when we're closer to lylo.

I think it reads kinda tmi actually. the tone is too confident and i don't like the talking about pl'ing later

i mean, if you really think it out, and buj is presenting as if he has, it's bad play for town to pl the miller claim right before lylo consistently. Ideally, town wants there to be some chance that they won't do that so that scum will consider night killing the miller if it's real. So I'd expect a player like buj to assert a town read and then wait until the day before lylo or whatever to push a PL if scum hasn't killed there.

Basically the game was """solved""" D1 based on how scum jumped onto the mechanical!town slots and what/how they jumped off. Saudade hard picked up on most of that and sang praises for mama skitter for the entire game
