If y’all dont like this, then the quickest way to get me to lay off the Star Wars talk (at least for the time being) is to get these lists to me. So far only Krazy, Vjörk and Xtoxm (once they answer me about the prequels) have obliged me.

Lol, bad behavior? You’re the only one who seems to have a problem with it. You’re starting to sound like the fun police. It’s early D1 in a STAR WARS THEMED GAME. I think it’s extremely relevant to find out everyone’s stance on the franchise. How is asking a question unacceptable?

Asking a question's not unacceptable, it's refusing to participate in the game at all until everyone answers that's the problem.

Like I said, I'm all for playing to have fun. But what you're doing is REFUSING to play in order to have fun. Go ahead and ask the question, banter about Star Wars to your heart's content. I have no issue at all with it... as long as you are playing the game at the same time.

In my experience on this site, if I don’t do something drastic people tend to ignore my questions. This whole thing is just wasting time. If everyone just gave me a list we could move on. It’s one post. I shouldn’t have to simultaneously “play the game” and get lists, because this shouldn’t take up much game time. Just put down your list and we can get back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Well, that's the eternal question of mafia, isn't it.

For sure, it can be possible to read into fluff posting. But I don't really think that's what you were trying to do, because you pretty clearly suggested that you'll get into more game-related content once you finish with this.

Sorry if you think I'm talking down to you, I admit that my tone was harsher than it needed to be. I certainly don't think any less of you as a person, but like I said, I don't think you've quite grasped the team element of mafia yet.

Yeah, there's a phase at the beginning of the game where there is no information. But the way we get out of that phase is just by trying to create information. That attempt, in itself, creates information.

And how is my request not trying to create information? The argument between us is the time waster, not the lists.
The way someone feels about Star Wars says a lot about their personality/life. This is good knowledge to find out.

it felt like an exact remake of a new hope
i wanted a new story
they gave us a remake and pretended it was new
i did like all of the originals tho (4,5,6)

So what about the prequels?

the prequels were actually what i was referring to here

unpopular opinion: the first 3 episodes are great, and force awakens was trash (to the point i havent watched any of the new ones since)

Despite my best efforts to be clear, you misunderstand me. I have no issue with Star Wars discussion. I have issue with him holding it over everyone's head like a carrot on a stick.

Also, DEB, this discussion IS game-related. It's not a waste of time. In addition to hopefully helping you become a better player (and maybe helping me become more tolerant as well), it should be producing content off which we both can be read.

Oh I see now X. That’s cool, it’s not everyday you see a prequel lover. I agree about Awakens, looked great and I was happy to have Star Wars back in my life but I wanted something new as well. I get why they did what they did. They were trying to get a whole new generation of fans involved, people who weren’t invested in the product already. Just in doing that they disappointed a lot of long time fans.
