The reason this isn't as strong as EV mechanically is because scum saving town Pine actually makes sense. You crumbed shooting like five people, mostly jokingly, but still. Additionally, if scum saves Pine, you don't get conftowned via two kills. Additionally, if scum saves Pine he's likely to get lynched eventually.

Basically, scum wants to roleblock vig shots on town unless they actually end the game in a scum win.

No, Pine theoretically doesn't have any shots yet. If he's scum, I think it's a reasonable assumption that he does and is just keeping that lowkey to set up a big death night.

More to the point, the unclaimed players are all probtown and I don't want to out a protective in the extreme off chance that I'm super wrong about the setup.

ofhrz/Ausuka/PP is the unclaimed pool, and I don't think any of them has much scum equity. Of the three, PP probably has the worst ISO, but his reaction to early pressure felt towny.
