They aren't fake reads per se, I know if somebody's pushing me they're either wrong or scum so I have something to go off of. That's primarily why I push them in the first place.

There's also this to add to the confusion.

You say your behaviour when applying this playstyle is scummy. If understandably people push you for it, then they're not actually wrong, are they?
How does your strategy work then?

I feel like you're making this a lot more complicated than it has to be. If somebody pushes me, I push them back a bit. I get a good read from that.

I don't know much about his playstyle, but this kinda pinged me that he may be trying to pocket me more than anything else he said. I'm not sure why, it seemed kinda unnatural?. Either way he's trying to get me on his side so there's a very real chance it is pocketing.

No. It won’t. It’s just going to make me check out because you’re making stuff up about my meta and I can prove it. We don’t have any completed games together and the closest one we do have was recently compromised. I was town that game and I arguably hid a lot. There was a lot more chaos in that game that you probably weren’t aware of or didn’t care about since you replaced into a scum slot.
