It is then revealed that Angles believes Fireball to be a lyncher. After revealing this fact, Angles then votes Fireball. It is later asserted from Angles that they think the lyncher is most likely town because it wouldn't make sense for the lyncher to be mafia if they could just nightkill the person. Why would someone vote someone they strongly believe to be town based upon role information? Either they do not think that, or they are lying about the wincon. I can see in the heat of the moment Angles voting Fireball. I could very easily see that. But to vote them after speculating about Fireball being the lyncher and more than likely discussing among themselves that the lyncher is town? That is scummy to me.

The insistence on wanting to know ARO's wincon/thinking they're lying sticks out some as possibly scum, but only ever so slightly. THe main difference between him and Penguin/Baezu Leaf is that gobble is actively participating in the thread whereas Penguin /Baezu Leaf aren't.

When people are angry, logic like that tends to fly out the window. It seems like a reasonable enough progression to me.

It feels like a bad game to have more than just town/mafia be mutually exclusive wins. Like to have Town A need player C alive and Town B need player C dead seems really mean.

Point A is a fairly precise observation. There was the possibility that Numbers and Cyrus could be scum together given Numbers' sudden defense of Cyrus, which is why I asked questions to see if there was anything beyond that. I feel the connection to be quite less present than I first thought. I would like to say that Numbers feel much more townie with how they handled the subsequent conversation with me, although that might be a simple reaction to the points I raised earlier. Probably a slot I'd call Null here.

I am very much aware of point B. If I need to precise our discussion from earlier about it, this posting style is not a style that is designed to obscure my posting style, or my identity. Rather, it is a posting style forcing me to speak in such a way as to promote discussion and foster it, and make my thoughts quite known. Consider it a thought experiment of forcing myself to use a certain paradigm of posting, in which I am forced to convey my thoughts in a certain way, at the loss of authenticity. It may not make much sense to you, and may appear quite scummy, but I hold a lot of importance to this for personal reasons.

It would cause conflict within town and give scum a big advantage massively tipping the game in their favour unless they also had directly conflicting wincons too which seems even more unlikely

Number's defense of Cyrus feels quite out of place. In fact a lot of stances that Numbers has taken this game feel quite detached. They do ask a lot of questions but don't have a lot of reads of their own. I think Cyrus and Numbers are equally good lynches here, perhaps.
