cyrus says his wincon, in the process kinda slips that ircher is scum, along the way says that scum are going to kill pine and pp protects him, but pine (and thus presumably cyrus, unless this got revealed overnight) knows that pp is a jk?

i actually believe that pp is a jk (or at least, had something to do with the fact that nobody died last night) but i don't understand the sequence of events there

Once upon a time there were three Bandits. Their names were Cyrus, Penguin, and Pine. Penguin and Pine - being of similar consonant - did not trust their fellow Bandit, Cyrus. After much discussion in their bandit hideout, Penguin and Pine determined Cyrus was scum and vowed to see him held accountable for his dastardly actions. Before being forced to leave his once former abode, Cyrus swore that one of Penguin or Pine would die. Penguin, is all of his valiant self-sacrifice demanded that Cyrus and his new gang shoot him, not the gentle, tree-loving Pine.

It was a rouse, however! An attempt to use reverse psychology so that the evil-doers would shoot Pine instead. Why? Because Penguin had a trick up his sleeve. He was, in fact, no ordinary bandit. But a Bandit Guard who is able to protect whomever he deems worthy from death. And so, Penguin protected Pine from Cyrus' gang's attempt at revenge, and all was peaceful through the night.

This is a game with a various amount of winconditions. This could be a ruse, for all we know, in order to achieve a wincondition.

Furthermore, I happen to have information that makes this story a bit less likely. So I am just skeptic here.
