I am so confused on the idea lmm pace for this game. So far It has felt pretty ideal tbh. 25 pages a day is a lot, even with a large playerlist.

Oh let's get some common sense down before someone disregards it:

The fruit shit is a scum ability. Pine can choose whether or not to do it. Pine gets some benefit out of handing out fruits. In terms of balance, taking the fruit should work out as anti-town. Don't request the fruit.

I actually think that a good amount of us, if not all, should ask for fruit. I think it will be interesting to see who Pine gives fruit to. It does create some wifom, but it could be useful.

I think Alisae should decide who bargains for fruit and keep the numbers of people asking for fruit to a minimum, so that Pine does not have much choice in who to give fruit to.

I also think that blindly rushing into the mechanic is extremely foolish, and the course of action scum would encourage.

I get why people wouldn't read all that's been posted so far, but something about Chickadee's post feels funny to me. I'm not saying she's scummy, just something about the tone is registering strangely to me.

I'm not really familiar enough with everyone playing, even Pine, Jingle, and Alisae, to really speculate how they may have chosen scumteam and who would do well here, so I'm not going to speculate on that. That feels like far too much of a distraction. Same with the fruit. I think that fruit will be important later and is a good mechanic to keep track of, but it's very much going to be an incredible distraction. I don't think just Pine will use it that way, but everybody honestly could.

I realize this really isn't all that much of real substance or anything, but this is what I'm thinking so far, and I think the best thing I can do in this game is to share my thoughts. I'm not really one who builds solid readlists or has all sorts of logic to back up a lot of what I think, so apologies in advance if that's what you're looking for.

town!chickadee tonally feels kind of mysterious and somewhat reserved - I'd suggest townreading off if you believe she believes what she's saying rather than if her tone reads intuitively the way you'd expect because imo her mafia tone is pretty different to what I'd expect

plus she's easier to read once there's more content

I have every choice over who I give fruits to. This mechanic was designed to be resistant to leashing and punishing to attempts to ignore it. I hold nearly all the cards with regards to this mechanic. You can either patronize my fruit vending or let me distribute them as I desire.

I've given all the information I ever intend to, other than the power granted by the fruit on offer.

Sir Firebringer is a valiant dog. When let off his leash, he tends to be a bit aggressive, and there's frequently a faint smell of sulfur where he's been. He's one of the most fun knights you can bring on a given journey, if a little bit hotheaded. He's also clearly above reproach as a denizen of the dark, dank forest where Pine lives as he's followed everywhere he goes by brightness and warmth.
