Probably, but, do u think Fakeclaiming Mason is a thing Dunn does this game?
Or do you think he was one and his alignment flipped?
he probably was a mason or the core of his role is that he's supposed to play like how masons would and claiming mason was encouraged
What was the context of their mason claims?
So here's the thing.
N1: CC (rebels) died
N2: PP (aeon) died (he had hinted to being a cop, but apparently he wasnt), an Event giving everyone 2 serum triggered.
D3: A50 was saying that they were trying to turn him into a robot or something and had made him odd night ascetic, and that probably turning him into a killing machine was Aeon's objective so he can kill people for Simotech. Also Claude (Simotech) was lynched.
N3: MariaR / Ankamius (Rebels) and A50 (Rebels)(Bodyguard) died.
D4: Primate (Aeon) was lynched and Revival event happened.
N4: Gamma (Rebels)(Vig) and Oversoul (Simotech)(Strongman) died.
N5: No one died, i was BP, Ali protected me, if i was targeted for a kill Ali would be dead unless Ali was targeting me for a kill.
Either scum is Ali, Scum purposefully no killed, Scum was unable to kill, Scum did something other than kill since they cant multitask.
What's going on with Aeon? is there any simotech left? Are masons turned scum now? is RP no killing while sending letters to "prove himself"? is CK scum and couldnt have commited a kill last night?
All these questions are going through my mind right now.

Well it's... a long story.
But at the time, Rauth was being pushed and Dunn claimed that they were masons.
When asked about the mason thing, to see if it's "Cant be simotech" or "Cant be aeon" all we got is that "Dunn and Rauth know that they both are the same alignment".
Previous game mod did say that Iustitia would be town next time, which gives credence to the fact that they are masons as they are both the only Iustitia members.
Only problem is the "bastard game" and the fact that the mod explicitly told me my alignment didnt change, on top of the fact that he said "There are no cults".
Means that there might be an event that causes one or more ppl to change alignment, just like what he mentioned in the previous game.
Whether he was trying to keep Iustitia town the whole game or not is still ????
Theorywise it's also possible that he did the opposite, the event DID trigger on D4, and back then he said he wanted Iustitia scum until D4, well... did the opposite happen here?
Idk if it's really worth thinking about this, i dont want to think of the masons being scum, and it scares me to think of it being a very real possibility.

See my first post in the game. Dunnstral refused to vote me afterwards, and later verified after I revealed my initial claim wasn't a joke.
Sakura, the mod telling you your alignment didn't change was likely to make sure that if an Aeon was hit by that ability, they would know they're still aligned with Aeon. (meaning the ability was likely controlled by Simotech. I'm not saying you are Aeon, just saying that the message would have to be there regardless of if the target was Aeon or not.)

I agree with the bastard thingy & mysterious event. About lynching Masons, It would be pretty stupid if both of them were aligned with Institua and planned to claim Masons d1, its just not efficient.
Cloud is such a clown....prob a town clown, but clown none-the-less - IAI
Didnt kid start his upkeep d2? Aka lost his vote. Maybe he has the ability with no serum cost but with a huge upkeep. So it would be encouraged to use early with the offset of losing a vote (so before actually earning serums for fationnal stuff)

Also, isnt starting with upkeep a bit unbelievable for a town VT? Like it would only mean that that town loses its vote early in the game on a 19P table; it looks underwhelming as a negative utility and from a design standpoint, not even fun or relevant. I think theres better ways to give town negative utility

It was mentionned but is very unlikely if you think masons are mafia. The way the masons played would mean they were unaware of a potential flip of alignement since now lynching even one would mean auto win for town. I hink not telling them would be bad design and unfun for them

Are you sure? Is serum upkeep paid the very same night of an used ability or not?

Yeah you're right.
I was thinking that maybe it was designed for this mindset, but that'd be trying to run myself into conspirancy theories.

Imagine not expecting 2 outside scum factions to eventually try to hit masons at some point in this game, while knowing a single flip is game over for that faction. It would be terrible design
