What makes my vote on DGB bad?

For me its the fact that the two of you have 51 and 16 posts respectively. The fact that you are both going after each other a bit here feels off because what could you two possibly have on each other with such low post counts and such little interactive activity to glean any info from?

Why now do two of the people who have been nonexistent in the thread going after each other? It feels fake and fabricated, so imma point that shit out. The fact that Grey is seeing the same thing I am after we saw the same things in LLD makes me have tingly butterfly feelings in my tummy and make me want to follow him to the depths of the forest to slay the evil tree causing the distrubance in my signal messing with SCUM THEATER, no one messes with my stories.

It has been mentioned that "someone check me on the worst" is weird af but its possible they were drunknor tires rather than crumbing.

Ank wasn't out to hide behind a scumread but to prove a null read as town. They say as much in the last post quoted here. This is smart play and DEAD null just feels like it is screaming this out! I'm to tr ally on this bandwagon!

I think Ank kind of jumps directly from one certainty to another, and then doesn't diminish any of her certainties unless the facts have gotten bad enough she feels it's time to discard it for an entirely different certainty. Or something like that. I don't know. Ank is kind of special sometimes.

My playstyle is basically the scientific method; start with the conclusion and test it until I either disprove it or reach a point where I won't be able to anymore and need to confirm it completely via flips to continue

The goal isn't to lynch scum every day but to give myself enough information to properly narrow down who CAN be scum to put town in an unloseable situation

This is exactly how I played starry night

As I say, I quoted this one for 2 reasons. First was that I thought maybe Starty Night might have been a crumb. I checked and found nk shenanigans in that game so threw it out.

The second is what I meant earlier with the xof reasoning. Ank knows how to play and wasn't gunning for scum with this shot! They were aiming to "properly narrow down who can be scum" and got unlucky. Picking a dead null slot is a really good place to start on that front as town and scumreads both present problems, like death and redundancy. Picking xof makes so much sense and it is explained to us right here why they did so! Scientific method ftw!

Here's what I think happened.

I think Ank spent large swaths of Day 1 planning to perform an investigative hide on me.

That incentivized her to make sure I did not get the watcher fruit in fact.

But I did get the watcher fruit.

And after the cue like, "I don't crumb, haha" that was actually related to an intent to later just do a readslist with a pretty mainstream - Pops (font color red) - the player has really been hiding behind other players and that's why it's scummy zbbzbzbzb

I fucked it up. Because if I have a public one shot watcher, I have nightkill equity. And that creates an issue with me as a hider target, not from the Weak element, but from the Way God Intended element, that we would die together if NKed. She scumread me, but wasn't quite at the level of bloated ego to be so so sure, that she would hide with someone with nightkill equity. I think she might have actually grappled with it. That'd be really consistent with her promise to post a readslist, followed by her refusal to give one.

In the end, she either - bailed into a mastina hide crumbed in her last post - or - went with the Menalque thesis, "No readslist" means no crumb, not going to investigatively use the hider, going to protectively use the hider, on townreads unlikely to get NKed.

positing that I think Ank may have spent a large part of Day 1 planning to hide onto me, which I know she did not do, is maybe not a great support beam to present as part of a different theory

HOWEVER

I think Ank originally planned to do a very oldschool Hansel and Gretel breadcrumb for a popsofctown hide
And had to abandon the notion in a 24 hour phase where there was other stuff going on in her life rather than finding her second best scumread aside from her first best scumread that was so asymptotically ahead.

Chennisden is a pretty bleh second place. I was scumreading chennisden. Her scumread was scumreading chennisden. That can't feel amazing.

That seems to aligns everything in a way that makes sense, best, to me.


It also is the best way to get to her ultimate goal of proving I'm scum by hiding with me, because if she hides and uses that to survive, I probably don't get fruit day 2, and she can hide with me then and crumb it properly.
