I'm assuming the delayed activation and vig thing was perhaps acknowledged when this setup was made, hence the addition of being able to speeddate people? Like town!korina would mean town has incentive to let him live for the speeddating perks but he would essentially be a ticking timebomb unless he is protected every night.

Typical flagbearer mechanics is when the flagbearer is lynched, all member of their faction die. A town flagbearer who kills all other townies upon lynch is bastard. This game isn't bastard however, so that isn't the issue. I was told my flagbearer abilities are modified, and they aren't currently active, however, I have no idea what the modifications to the ability is, nor the activation requirements.

I'd assume my flagbearer ability only comes into play once it activates, and I'm lynched. Anything else would technically be bastard. Another thing, I should reasonably be told when it activates. If not, I could make a semantic argument about that being bastard, and I really doubt that the reviewers of the game were like "town flagbearer who doesn't know when they start flagbearing

and the ability activates upon death, not upon lynch

If it isn't activated yet then couldn't a vig just shoot you for safety? Or is the play to keep you healed or jailed or what? Obviously we don't want protector roles to claim but if we don't know that we have any then isn't letting you live a giant risk in of itself for the future of the game, assuming you are town?

Yea, you could have a vig kill me, but that's wasting the night for the vig and town loses someone for no reason. I did think about it a bit more, and with my current assumption of it being the ability only triggers upon me getting lynched, (once it activates), scum have literally very little reason to shoot me, therefore having a protective on me is just a waste. Sure, I can make a pseudo-masonry between people who are pretty sure they're town, but none of it gets mod-confirmed. Additionally, once it gets activated, scum would want to let me live until a point where they could reasonably get someone to vote to lynch me, causing them to automatically win.

Masons are always town aligned from what I remember and that's why I was town reading Mastina for being in a mason chat with me and it turns out everyone has a mason chat. At first I was thinking Korina was an independent who could pair up players and put them in a mason chat and then I had to look up the Flagbearer role because I was not familiar with it and it said it is mafia aligned. Scum claiming Flagbearer on day 1 is pretty ballsy and scum would want to avoid those kind of suspicious claims they make on day 1.

Here's the thing though. Adorable just said they're a mason. That means {Adorable, Mastina} would both be masons, and therefore confirmed town. If that's the case, they'd have a mason PT,

and

the neighborhood I created. If they only have one PT, then that's something else we'd have to discuss later.

Mmmm, I have a fair number of alignment solves that can probably come from Lynching Korina right now, and there's like a 40% chance their scum, AND if they're telling the truth then making them dead before they kill us all seems good to me.

It's not. Literally read the fucking game TD. I said my ability activates at some point, I have no idea when it is, but I do know for a fact it can't kill the entire town.
This game isn't bastard. The fact that I'm a town flagbearer means either someone has a role to disable my ability, or my ability is basically supersaint, except it targets town.
