Literally my first scum game on site, I claimed Tracker in a similar situation, and I won the game off of it as the last scum in 4p mylo, with a confirmed mason in the game leftover.

Letting him live is how it gets solidified in the mind to never lynch. That’s how deep wolf coasts happen.

And Watcher investigations are going to be unconfirmable, especially if he is an actual Scum Watcher.

Watcher is considerably more powerful than Tracker

. In addition, because having the name of a scum to lynch is better than having someone confirmed Town due to being targeted by the Mafia kill,

Watcher is more powerful than Doctor

That's an excerpt from the wiki. Also, Tracker can track someone to a night kill, but can't guarantee they were the only one to visit the victim. Unless "Ninja", the Watcher can tell us whether the victim was targeted by only one person, thus can get a hard guilty on their own.

And with a little bit of knowledge from my own role, "watcher" is just so plain, easy to be thought of on the top of your head, and overtly valuable/powerful enough to deter a lynch. In retrospect its the perfect fakeclaim for a self-save, and JUST that.

I'd imagine that you'd have a little bit of personal "who should I watch" leaking from your posts, intentional or not, but none. Nada.
