I'm Reflect/Refrain. My day ability is that we have 1 more transformation gauge. When I counted day 1 it looked like one other player had this ability, but I didn't count carefully.
My night ability is that I choose a somebody and pick a new focus for them, their night action is redirected to their new focus instead of who they tried to target. They are informed they got redirected, but not informed who they got redirected to

Actually i was wondering why the transformation gauge was 11 and not 10 D1. This explains it. This also doesnt sound like a scum role.

DDL can verify the transformation gauge part of the role with Vanillizer, but it's not necessarily responsible setup spec to assume it's impossible for a scum to have a passive ability that gives the town +1 gauge. It'd just be kind of like a scum cop enabler

I wasn't crazy about claiming because for all I know the day roleblocker was totally whiffing yesterday but I think my day ability is pretty useful.
I doubt I will use my night ability ever this game, except in 2/3 LyLo -> not LyLo -> LoLlo

i wonder whether CS giving the shot to you, gameplay, and the gamma shot was forced by CS, so that in EV terms, your shot is more likely to kill town

The roll a d3 bit is pretty deterrent to blocking Bitmap.
Plus the idea that they'd have to consume a roleblock on him every night for the rest of the game.
Meanswhile SS softed something that implied it could clear slots, same power level as Bit's thing

They don't have to roleblock him every night, Bitmap is getting killed at some point this game like for sure

Our role does good stuff if we have flavor names.

Note I do not know if scum has any power from flavor knowledge so I don't know if this is zero risk, but if you have some faith in us it will be good for town if we have some flavor knowledge.

You have a redirect that can cause slots like gameplay to target town.

Redirect a target and kill it makes a lot of sense.

Yes? It is scum, scum who is probably whiffing. SS hasn't outed what their day role is, which they shouldn't. And it might be something with no real value or no day role at all.

The design of my front side ability is balance, the backside seems to be meant as flavor. Refrain counters spells, which is kind of like a trickery thing, so I got a trickery night ability that is kind of antitown. It reduces swing because if I die the town doesn't lose both an extra gauge and an efficient way to use guage, just the extra gauge and an extremely situational ability.

The front side is kind of flavor too, to be fair.
Reflect stores up magic counters for Refrain to use.

Your position is that scum took a shot at role blocking a major wagon during the day, but then completely ignored it at night? They didn't roleblock obvtown with an ability that would be announced to everyone that it existed. Instead, they went after SS who was widely regarded as scum?

I really didn't/don't care that much about getting mislynched, because it was fun enough just to get this role. The uPick element was really fun and maybe I should join them more often.
I don't really even like half the role.
