GreyICE - is likely just town for the LLD war; the posts I was reminded of from his d1 are just not super likely to come from bussing scum.. too much high visibility optic hard bussing to be realistic (even compare to you vs. both scumbuds in MLP for example; on rereading of that game you guys were subtly stalling your bus so you didn't actually crash down to 1 scum by d3 lol. like it was a tactical slow burn crossbus, and in retrospect the signs of Glork signalling for scum deaths but not gunning for them were there: GICE lacked any of that kind of passivism or softness. he's also gone which is frustrating)
Titus - I think is just exhibiting her town meta? her gamestate reads I've seen so far have tickled the back of my gut which makes me think town. I found scum!Titus kind of hard to relate to and more aloof wrt moonlogic etc., she feels quite in sync here.
Formerfish - exhibited an emotional range which I think his moral compass kicks him for exhibiting as scum. first take for deepwolf because his reads have been largely sheepy/consensus but he's probably just town.
Iconeum - rawr! lowest tier town I like his posting when he's here but he hasn't grace us with his presence enough. if he lurks this phase out while not being v/la just treat him as confscum until he cracks the game or dies
Pink Ball - keeps doing cheeky untowny things that don't make me wanna townread him, I'll evaluate and get right later if others disagree but ???
Dannflor - when he's active he pushes the thread in a positive direction and I think he's steered conversations open rather than restricting them; when he's passive he reads as earnest in his confusion and nonchalance etc. not seeing scum agenda here unless coasting
Katsuki - don't care about this person, d1 vs LLD seemed unassociated and I appreciate his "townread GICE you fucks" pop-in but like I think this guy's entire MO is to be completely useless until lategame for maximum flashy points so do whatever with him
Menalque - I think is just trying to solve the game the more it goes on. a lot of the stuff people were scumreading him for feel more and more surface and kinda creepy whatever his posting is good and I don't feel like he's approaching this with a large bias or guilty conscience. he's a little unfocused sometimes in a way that makes me second guess myself but probs just town

I'd believe this too, pops has WK energy. I just don't really have a reason to townread Fireb. If pops is a mislynch scum!Fire let's it through, if they're s/s or t!Fire/s!pops it probably gets governed I think. Are you ok with pushing on that basis?

I think it is a bad idea for me to commit to protecting our conftown 100%, saying, "yes, I will be locked onto Something_Smart and only SS". While this will keep SS alive, it will also guarantee I don't die.

My preferred approach would be flipping a coin between protecting S_S and, say, GreyICE (to name a possible protection), with the understanding that if I protect the not-S_S option and S_S dies that I eat the lynch.

The coinflip approach at least gives us the chance of keeping Pine on his toes, keeping Pine guessing as to who I'll protect, rather than locking it into a known variable.

If it's left to random chance, then there's a 50% chance I fuck up and Pine gets everything he wants but there's a 50% chance Pine fucks up and town gets everything they want; I consider this probably better than a 100% chance of the status quo being maintained, so unless Ali tells me otherwise that'll be my plan tonight. Literally flip a coin. If heads, protecting Something_Smart; if tails, protecting someone who I think is a probable Pine nightkill.
