i don't currently scumread skitter and i have more personal reasons to scumread him than i do you, so i guess you could consider that the origin. i might have a bit of a complex regarding things like this, blame mariaR

Scum is easy. You know exactly what you have to do and how to get to point B (Winning game). Town is hard. You can put in all the effort, break all the noses, force through all the reads, and then just be wrong. And there's nothing you can do about it.

Like, I'd take losing to my own shitty play over losing to me playing well for the enemy any day.

I actually disagree with this for real tho. Scum is stressful bc the ball is in your court. You’re winning or losing by how good your play is.

Town is chill because if you’re totally wrong then hey, it’s a limited info game, sometimes that just happens. That’s not to say it doesn’t have stressful moments but I think the odds are kinda stacked against you that I feel like there’s no shame in losing (normally).

Right now my order of preference is:
Wooper > teacher > Almost50

A Wooper or teacher lynch would be satisfying to me, but I can't relate to the warm fuzzy feeling that people are getting from the A50 bandwagon. I'm still inclined to think that he's town. In general, the case on him is giving me flashbacks to when people were scumreading me earlier.

This is a point that I disagree on. Where do you feel like he's giving the appearance of 'doing things'? Because honestly my impression/memory is that most of his iso has been of a humorous/carefree nature and don't really get the sense that he's motivated by earning town-cred in this game.


And it feels like seeing 'no progression' from someone is the new trendy filler point in this game. Whether it's true or not in this case, it just feels like words any time I see someone say it.

Why does ‘nothing happening in 60ish hours’ indicate that you and Wooper are both town?

Because if one of us were scum someone (other than nibs) would be pushing something and/or the other one.

What is your read on Wooper right now? Because not too long ago you voted him and said "This is what I'm feeling most rn" but a brief skim of your iso shows that you were TLing him a few days before that.

Your view point that you/Wooper are both town from the game slowing down seems like giving Wooper an easy pass (and yourself for that matter). In particular, it makes the assumption that scum weren't already pushing your wagons. And I think there are other strong explanations for the game slowing down.

To be frank, I didnt like egixs votepark or your joinder. I left because I didn’t like the wagon, not because of any read on him. That said, I’ve seen scum duck and don’t think this is similar. Like he has been offmeta for me, which is why I was feeling it, but I’m not sure the differences are scum indicative. Those are why I left - doubt and thinking it would be more advancing to be elsewhere.
