Wooper, I agree that Mena is one of the only players doing anything this phase. I just can't see how he's developed his reads going with a town!Mena in my head though.

Like, specifically I'm looking at his trajectory on Pops yesterday, which made 0 sense. I'm looking for substance and not finding it. Show me why he's town

because I think it's easy to do like PB is doing and pretend to be the savior of town while not actually doing anything

Don't really have capacity to towncase Mena rn but his trajectory on pops yday felt.. ok to me in realtime, I haven't revisited it. I didn't get the feeling he was hyperfocusing on it and it didn't feel forced, he was kinda just sorting through stuff - do you think it was scum indicative? I'll revisit it if you think there's some value there.

Agree wrt PB I liked it right at the start but he kinda fell off a cliff

I won't argue TWTBAW on Mena. I don't think he's TWTBAW at all, just think he's playing pretty earnestly. I'll own I probably need to reevaluate what the ~motivations~ have been

I wasn't trying to say that was your argument. Pops, I believe made that case. I think tone is pretty easy to fake for spurts of time in a game like this, so motivations matter a bit more to me right now.

I don't know why you explicitly scum read me. Presumably because my play the last few day phases has been shit. Honestly, I don't really care to unpack it. I don't think I'm going to change your mind based on the lack of fucks I give right now so it's probably a waste of time. I'm just hoping to find the actual scum first so I'm not the game ending mislynch

Maybe you've somehow shaken up your meta to an extreme and our playing this game wildly different than you normally would as scum

Occam's razor is that you are Just Town and I don't have enough paranoia to seriously reconsider that read unless we severely cut down on scummy slots
