Personally, I don't think fakeclaiming is that bad of a tactic. IMO, you do what you need to to survive the day, regardless of alignment. Whenever you fakeclaim, you always run the risk of someone CCing. So, I actually applaud Fish for the attempt, though it seems to me that Fish really wasn't into the game at this point. If it were me, I would have waited until I was L-1 with a hammer intent to fakeclaim. Since the day was just starting and we were still all trying to figure out the NK, I thought it was premature.

As scum, you have to do whatever you think will gain you the most. With 2 goons it could have been anything. Though I think claiming a PR with the newbie setup mostly ends in a scum lynch just because there’s too much risk of being CC’d. Honestly the way the wagons went I don’t know that I would have lynched fish if he’d claimed VT. Day 1 was kind of bizarre lol...

Perfect town win though. That’s fantastic. Everyone did really well.

Obviously it was all thanks to chibiie and his amazing reads uh no lol... it takes more than one person to lynch scum. I think town was able to read other town which made the PoE easier. A solid town block is one of the greatest weapons - as long as your town reads are true. This is why I generally try to townhunt first and then gauge behavior towards those people. It’s rather successful for the most part. When you realize that you can trust another player, that’s a really strong position for town.

I think scum did ok actually. Faust and gilded did a great job looking town which made them easy to read imo. That narrowed the pool quite a bit for me, and of course knowing my mason buddy was town.

Tbh in response to Lies - I like to question all players and make pushes on players that aren’t being pushed. In most cases, at least one mafia gets TR in the day phase. You can’t let players get complacent by not questioning them.

I did scumread fish and Farren d1 then double backed on my reads.

GildedSun had towny reactions but her progression made no sense to me, that’s why I pushed it. After Farren flipped maf I thought she was the most likely partner by logic.
