I'm not going to dredge up a wall of quotes for this case. Their iso is a relatively short 60 posts and you guys can all read it yourselves in a relatively short period of time.
The reason that I think that L1 is they just don't feel like they're solving?
A metric shit ton of their content doesn't address anything AI. There's lots of posts discussing avatars and stuff and this continues right into present time.
3 posts out of 60 for example are complaining that no one knows who replaced the slot that got replaced out and I think that's an easy thing to fake frustration about as scum.
Literally I just went through their ISO and a full THIRTY OUT OF SIXTY post contain absolutely ZERO discussion of anyone's alignments and discuss mechanics avatars or random frustrations.
And that's not including quote walls where 2 out of 3 of the comments they make don't say anything about anyone's alignments. They're like the definition of active lurking.
What solvey content they have, which they have little of, isn't very good either.
As an example, in the early game, they called Celeste leanscum because of "small concerns" with no reason given.
They recently changed that to leantown because of Celeste's "effort" even though she's literally been an absentee slot for the vast majority of the game outside of D1.
They noncommittally give milquetoast takes and ask questions that they never really follow up on when they actually are posting alignment indicative content.
Idk, this just doesn't feel like town phrasing. Is it just me and the despite a lack of posts and there's lots of examples of other stuff like this.Is it just me, or has Masque put forth a large amount of the solving effort up to here despite a lack of posts? I definitely like that.
There's zero analysis either, and a lot of the time they give townreads for dumb shit like effort.
Just a really weird thing to say. Cannot say I am a fan of that to that just feels like an inappropriate final thought. This joke is starting to get old. I noticed you barely posted anything of relevance and checked out rather quickly, cannot say I am a fan of that.
I also think the simple fact of them waiting to be the last Gentleman to invite is scummy. I think there's a lot of scum motivation in being the last gentleman to invite.
Especially if one of L2 or L5 is actually scum there's a lot of reason for them to want to hold off on their invite.- Gentleman 6

I also as a niche advantage think that L2 has reasonable amount of scum equity so I think that even if I end up being wrong on G1 we still might end up walking away with one scum.
Might even get a twofer if the effort to establish L2 as his townread and the hold off on pairing was because they're SvS.
Not that I would be like lynching L2 on her own.- Gentleman 5

I kinda agree with the posts above.G1 - So I really havent had time to personally witness him in action so I have to go by rereading. I really do not like his way of nicknames, as it makes going back kinda a pain if you dont know the person. I feel like most of his questioning didnt really go anywhere, and that he didnt follow through on any of it. #1658 seems like the only post worth its weight, the rest looks like just asking questions and nicknames. Meh slot.
But the con is that L5 lives awhile longer.- Lady 4

I see where you're coming from and I like the case, but I think there are a few things I'm not all that sure about:
1. His phrasing is definitely off a bit, but it could be because he's exclusively approached the thread from a position of being behind, and since we have yet to have an extended interaction with him in real time, that makes this part difficult
2. He isn't necessarily direct about alignment, but neither am I, and neither is a lot of other people in the game, especially when you're not sure how you feel about a player because they haven't fully participated.
3. If you're going to go after someone for hesitancy as far as proposing to a lady, Gentleman 3 is a much better target to go after.
In fact, in just about all these qualifying factors, I think I could make a better case for Gentleman 3. Gentleman 1 quite possibly could have had the last pick on a lady only because he simply wasn't here until he was the last person, Gentleman 3 fought it all the way up until the last possible second. Gentleman 3 hasn't been particularly direct about alignments, he's just kind of commented from the side. He's made several excuses that seem to regularly contradict each other, and after being here for days, he disappears after the attention is off of him until I bring up suspicion of him again, at which point he fails to address any concerns and disappears into the blue.- Gentleman 4

That might have been poorly worded, so I hope you can understand at least sort of what I'm getting at. I'm not saying I'm opposed to Gentleman 1 being lynched, he definitely moved higher on my list of suspects, but when you bring up the arguments you do the only person I can really think about is Gentleman 3.- Gentleman 4
