Cult is an anti-town faction that grows nearer to its win condition simply by expanding night after night. Sometimes even after the original cult leader dies. ((See Mainstream Mafia I))

With regards to night actions, the act of being culted lies within the same rank as being night killed. So it is, in fact, possible to see someone get culted and flip cult on the same night.

This will mostly have to wait until post game; however, I can say that everything you have at your fingertips is there for a reason. Yes, even your role.

How about everyone claims a list of 9 other slots that they know they are not aligned with. This is meant for scum, after scum flips the lie detector can test that post to either get 9 confirmed not scum or a pool of 9 players that definitely have scum in them. It does not help catch cult, since lie detector only tests the truth of the statement when it was made.
