Yeah, they are players that mostly just frequent speakeasy and when they actually play mafia (once or twice a year) they always complain about hyperposting

Wrt Bingle, I see Bingle pushing an agenda solely related to the banning of an anti-town role. Why the shade?

Bingle: Yes, as I stated previously, he’s 100% technically correct. However, he seemed to be pushing it pretty hard. As I stated in that same sentence, I got the feeling that it was a personally trait rather than a tell but I didn’t know him enough to say. Since, I’ve decided it’s alignment-neutral.

Bbmolla: As scum, he deflects as much as possible. Obviously it was early for any sort of reliable tell, but IMO, sharing early reads, as sub solid as they may be, gets the ball rolling. And it certainly has. A number of people have commented it and now, my read on bbmolla is neutral, and I have a scum read on Firebringer. And they are certainly not scum together.

Menal: A third party read is a lot less strange in a game where a third party is known to exist. I think menal’s singleminded push for governor is either just goofing off with a complete and utter disregard for game mechanics, or it’s a cover for an actual game mechanic. They want to RP as mayor the whole game? Why, when the governor will most certainly become cult if they survive? Perhaps they are already cult, or immune to cult, or there’s actually a role mechanic that incentivizes cult recruit. Most of these possibilities are anti-town. At the very least, (s)he doesn’t seem to be showing regard for town. In essence, it’s just something about the way they are pushing for mayor that struck me as very off - like they really didn’t care about how it effected the game, but trying a little too hard. And something about it just made me feel like they do not have teammates. UT, on the other hand, and a handful of other people, have made campaigns for governor that didn’t bother me in the slightest.

The entire early list and these answers give me the feeling that you felt compulsed to post a list? And you can't really justify it so you resort to neutral reads on the points that I question it? I wonder what would happen if anyone picked up on some of the stuff you threw at the wall and started eating it.

I think doing shotgun reads like that was more common in an older meta, not that I particularly care. It is pretty commonly acknowledged that those reads are from a snapshot in time and are fluid (or was). It was the way I chose to try to get myself engaged with the game, and I have no regrets. Not being able to evolve your reads as you play is stupid and against the nature of the game and what makes it fun for me. I don’t think you’re understanding anything I was trying to say.

As example, you seem to be attacking the fact that I have since changed my bbmolla read to neutral and then later all the way to town, because I had no “reason” to call him scummy. Despite you saying that, I said repeatedly that I called him scummy because I have played with him when he’s very silly/deflective as scum, phrased various ways. I don’t know how much deeper insight you could want or expect from his one post about sleeping naked.

I feel like you are picking and trying to fault me as being internally inconsistent, but in a way that does not strike me as very genuine. I haven’t even displayed internal inconsistency, IMO, but such a thing could come from any alignment even if it did exist.
