Do you think two or one of these are mafia?
good question

definitely at least one IMO but probably not two at this point. at the time I was being kinda lazy and PoE-ing a little aggressively (of the 5 players outside these three, I have two as solid townreads, two as less-solid-but-still-don't-wanna-lynch-today townreads, then Titus), but I do think if I can firm up at least one good townread in that group of three it'll be really helpful. If just one mafia in that group then the other is probably gonna be in Titus or one of my softer townreads.

Glided Sun and BS both have wagons to 3 again.

This suggest Map wolf and GS have the same alignment.

Does it really?

Map Wolf wagon was faustiv, GL, Titus
GildedSun wagon is faustiv, BS, GL

If they're both town, who are the scum voting on either wagon? How is this logic informing your reads?

I'm still at a loss on why I'm a sudden suspect of interest. GL, you said just that my post on Map Wolf but then not voting him was suspicious, before placing your vote on me. How so? I never spoke of intent to vote. I was merely pointing something out. Do you have any other reasons for voting me?

And by gamesolve, I mean that my way of playing, especially in this game, has been asking many questions to understand where everyone is coming from. This is visible earlier in the game while I was more active. (pages 4-6)

I would really like to examine Faustiv. There hasn't been much talk on their potential alignment and I'd like to see more talk to see their reaction to a little pressure. I still would like to compare their current play to the previous.

Egging on a wagon without adding to it directly is scum-motivated IMO. Scum love to have mislynches go through without them on board if they don't have to be, because the people who actually vote a mislynch are generally the ones who are gonna be held to the fire the next day. And there's also the question of - if you are town and truly thought Map Wolf had the highest odds of being scum, why would you not vote there? What good is pointing things out if it doesn't even lead to an "intent to vote"?

It rolls up into a larger point where I feel you've been sitting on the sidelines, playing safe, asking questions but not really using that info to lead to any stated reads or votes. Votes are the most important action in the game it is generally a townies only real weapon, you should not be afraid to use it.

I quoted that "I am gamesolving" quote cause it really feels like you're just telling us that you're gamesolving instead of showing it. Take your other post on faustiv for example - you want him to be pressured more. Pressured about what? Why are you asking us to drill into faustiv instead of doing it yourself? I haven't seen reason to push on faustiv, if I've missed something that you saw or feel is important then you should show me.

That's just how I play. I am a new player who irl has a general fear of being wrong so I play very neutral, get other players to talk and let the more experienced do the reading.

Here's your question asking..?

I don't disagree you've been asking questions! I just think you haven't
done
anything with those questions. Asking questions is easy, taking real stances is hard.

It doesn't do anyone any good if you are letting your fear of being wrong get in the way of voting or giving thoughts. You're gonna be wrong when you play mafia, it's a hard game. Scum's main disadvantage is that they
know
when they are wrong and therefore they have to lie and pretend that they're uninformed. This is hard to do, but it's a lot easier to get away with when you don't have to actually give opinions or justifications for anything you're doing. So as either alignment you should be less afraid of being wrong because if you manage to come across as genuinely wrong it's one of the most town-indicative tells there is.

Sure. I'll need to read the ISO of TGS later, but they don't really com off as hard scum. Honestly don't know though. If I was him and was scum, then I probably would've voted myself unless I was afraid of being scumread.

@TGS - you really think it's tough to pick 3 people you don't want to Lynch today?

@Gjt why didn't you answer your own question?

I sorta think talking about strength of townreads is generally anti-town as it helps scum figure out who is mislynchable and helps chart a trajectory for their game, but I will definitely say that I don't intend to vote faustiv, Blatant Scum, or GBJ today.

Kind of interested about what made map wolf go from one of your scum reads earlier, become null and now your second strongest town read? What about their recent posts changed your mind?
