I had made a push on g8 earlier and l9 moved off it to l2 and then l5 left.

Funny thing is l9 had moved their vote off g8 and onto l2 at some point while I was away before l5 left.

It was the tell that I picked up on and was trying to reaction test to see what popped up.

I kept circiling around this thought i was having and couldnt unwrap it in my brain.

I think the fact that l9 left me hanging in the thread was telling as well. Like town l9 would want me caught up and would be posting walls in the pt to help me get up to speed.

I ran the anonymous dance game because someone brought up that these dance setups have been affected too much by meta, and I sought to build a game that would not be affected by any previous player histories. Unfortunately, it seems that many of you were able to guess the main identities of the other players as the game progressed. I wonder if it is truly able to have a game on this site that is completely free from meta influence.

This is hard no matter what site you run alt games on. At my old homesite rip 95% of our games were alt games and we tried a variety of different rule sets to try to prevent meta and outing of other people's alts and various punishments when rules are broken.

Some people are good at alt guessing and will identify half the playerlist, and others aren't. But regardless the anonymity, even if imperfect, is nice and a lot of fun.

Yeah legit. I wouldn't do it for G1 because I needed to see how he handled the thread - but even at risk of overplaying an agenda it would have been really valuable for L9 to lend you more of a hand with the catchup. Good thinking.

@Plum, would you be ok if I quoted your notes? I did exaggerate them and omit a couple of things (didn't want to alert G1 to the tells you were looking for, for example) but they were really helpful.

Oh yeah I did enjoy the anonymity a lot, even though I think my posting style is very obvious! I got some Gammapings from G1 but I tried real hard not to ID anyone. It was like playing off-site. So much fun.
