I’m getting a little paranoid as both Datisi and Icon seem weirdly relaxed given the situation, particularly Datisi recently.

Eh, I'm feeling "relaxed" because I don't really want to tear into Icon and attack him while he's VLA, and I know he'll be back tomorrow. I'm still here to answer any questions ofc, I was just going to get into it.

It wasn't exactly a "strong" TR. My strong TR's this game have been Mena, Luca and Icon. (s i g h) My SR's were
pops - Wimpy slot, and the one who qh Mena,
alimdia - who I thought was having a couple of very bad takes and was getting passes where they shouldn't have,
Wicked - that I still think the Mena case was bad, and
Aldu - whose readslist was very odd (tho I'll admit the whole refusal to claim did get him Townpoints in my eyes.)

With those 4 that I had a level of certainty on, and with both Mena and Icon calling emps Town, I wrote it off as PoE Town/half-sheeping read.

and uh that was like the only doc crumb that came to mind after thinking for like a good 30 mins lol

emps, how serious here you here when you say that you were thinking of a crumb for "30 minutes"?

I wasn’t expecting you to attack Icon during his V/LA, it was more the interaction before his V/la where you both seemed unusually relaxed despite knowing the other was very likely to be scum. I’m about to sleep so will elaborate on this tomorrow.

Eh, i'm asking because if you started thinking of it at the begining of the game, thought for 30 or so minutes, decided to go with that crumb - why did you do the crumb in the middle of Day 1?

And re:Luca, I think I've been pretty relaxed around you too, even though I knew there is at least one scum in Icon/Luca, since you two were my TR's. Also, at first I hadn't exactly worked out the implications of the claims, plus I still thought there was a ~chance~ that both you and emps could be fakeclaiming.

i didnt think of crumbing right at the beginning of the game tbh

also, ive said before that i was hesitant to crumb that way because u have seen me accidentally crumb that as vt, which is why i did like that line skip thing where the "or" is like on the next line

That part is genuinely one of the easiest things to fake. Anything about either of our's progressions in this game? You've played with both scum! and town!Icon too, right? How does this game compare?

My gut feeling right now is that this is a Luca/Datisi scum team. Feels like Icon/emps is the answer being pushed the most but honestly that scum team makes the least amount of sense to me.


This is how the possibilities rank in my mind right now, gun to my head:

Luca/Icon
emps/Datisi
Icon/Datisi
emps/Icon


I’ll spend some more time on this later tonight. I’ve focused all my energy on Luca/emps when I should be trying to sort Datisi/Icon. Regardless of who the team is, I’ve town read all four of you at one point or another so I think scum have played very very well this game.

emps’ hammer was awful but I’m not sure he would intentionally do that as scum and I’m not crazy about Luca’s L-1 vote either.

I put Pops at l-1 because there was no alternative - I thought Icon was Tracker and he was saying not to push Alim and he TR you, so there was nowhere else to go.

If you still scumread me over emps this game then I really don’t know what else to tell you tbh.

Maybe you’re biased due to the fact you targeted both emps and Icon, but I don’t see how that team makes the least sense.

I remember in our previous game together both Icon and Datisi were really paranoid of each other and had many heated arguments, which is why their recent interactions strike me as unusual, given they pretty much know that the other is scum. Also Datisi hard TR Icon this game but was always suspicious of him in the previous game, even though Icon was a lot more Townie in that game imo.

As for emps, he’s spent the whole game hiding behind ‘catching-up’, and now we’re at the business end of the game he still isn’t contributing and is now hiding behind the idea that ‘scum wouldn’t play so bad’.

I could see a strategy, however, where Scum Icon/Datisi would both hard TR emps and bring him to LYLO knowing he’d be an easy mislynch. I’m just trying to work out if it’s possible both me and emps can be Town here.

And Wicked, to say me/Datisi makes the most sense defies all logic and sense.

If me/Datisi were a team I would have claimed Tracker and won the game. Icon had just said he thought I was Tracker. Why would I claim a role that could so easily come from scum?

I was SRing him that game (well, until the massclaim at least), of course I was acting more paranoid of him. My acts around other players depend hugely on my read of them.

And i think we've had quite a bit arguments this game too. Obviously they've been a little different, since I thought he was Town.

And what sense do FN + Named + Informed + Doc in a 9p make?

Also, pretty sure if I was scum with anyone here I'd just claim Tracker in mass since I was going last, but ya know.

Possibly, Datisi, but it’s also possible you felt no need to claim Tracker given you have been so TR this game.

But what it definitely should mean is that me/you are not the scumteam.

And yes, maybe it doesn’t make sense that both me and emps are Town, but I’ll go through some old micro games later today and see if such a setup is feasible.

Though if we're sorting me/Icon today and we come to the conclusion we're probably not both scum, I think it's fair to ask to eventually let us confirm we're not a team, as we did with you/emps.
