I don't feel super confident that I caught you as scum, but I feel fairly confident in my townreads despite the early stage, so it's more of a process of elimination at this point.
Also, this sounds super sketchy, now that I understand it.
Why are you referring to yourself in 3rd person? Why are you saying you have a townread on yourself?
In my last game I thought the same. Someone who I was confident was scum did this (except he would do it like "
insert name here
(duh)". I thought this was scummy until I not only noticed other people doing it, but it was explained that if you DONT do this its kinda scummier. Why would I not include myself in my own town read? It also helps me_the_player keep track of how many overall town and scum im reading and how the numbers/relationships match up.
I'll accept that youre confident in your town reads and the only thing thats left is me, but you're wrong.
I've never heard of something like this before. Could you link me to a previous post as an example?

Regarding Thomth, I don't think he's scum, although I do agree that he's not being very useful. But I don't see why scum would bother doing such random, attention drawing moves as opposed to not doing them. I just don't really see where the scum benefit is in that, unless it's "oh, they'll think it's too dumb to be a scum move". It just feels like he's reckless rather than he's trying to get a lynch. And maybe it's just been my experience, but I don't think I've ever had a quickhammer in a newbie game from something like this.
I’m likely messing up the quote there, but I can see a new scum player being as bad as thomth has been. New town player...would they have stuck their head up s9 high.
? Don’t think normally just sit around and do nothing, are they ever as aggressive as this?
I mean, I can see that sort of confidence coming from town easily. Like, in general, I think that newb scum's first instincts are generally to be cautious rather than reckless, and it works out fairly well for them at the start, in my opinion. Yeah, sure, maybe thomth is being incautious scum, but I find that not really caring about how others will perceive you to come from town more often than scum.
Also, I know a lot of people have called Thomth's vote on TW bad and not beneficial, all that. I agree, but I just don't see what the reasoning for it being scummy is. I think he's just lynchbait, and there's likely at least one scum on his wagon. I think Arkias is least likely, though. I'm still content to sit on Ldog, although if someone disagrees with me and thinks he's clearly town, I'd like to talk about that.
