I did challenge her to justify it. It actually seems like a pretty townie progression to cool on it, sometimes when I'm asked to review my reasons for a read and the tally doesn't get as high as I remembered I ease off on it.

L-1 claims are identical to massclaim claims with respect to the lynch, but fundamentally different with respect to the factional nightkill, as long as it is LyLo-X+1 where X is the number of living mafia member to punish for audacious counterclaiming, after and assuming you lynch incorrectly among the counterclaimers.
The idea behind massclaiming in opens is you do them in LyLo-X when this isn't true anymore. You can even be brave and skip that and try to lynch correctly amongst counterclaimants.

Why does it annoy you? Like, Hectic when he's not doing gimmicks is probably going to be more Hectic than this. This is at least partially Thilbert. I'm not very familiar with you, so maybe/likely you haven't played with Hectic?
228 seems like using one of his gimmicks to dissociate himself from his stances/alignment rather than associate himself which makes me leerier, even though I never try to read Hectic's antics in terms of them being antics.
Unclear what's going to happen with regard to Hectic's break-the-fourth-wall humor being at odds with the letter of site rules.
