I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”
Also, just for the record, I'm pretty confident in Emps being scum. After doing my re-read of the game, he pretty much had no real committal to reads and didn't exhibit much scumhunting throughout the game. I'm not voting yet because I'm about to sleep, then I've got work in the morning until the afternoon, and I don't want to come back and have the next night phase started already after an Emps lynch without saying a few more things.
As far as "did a rb stop scum or did a babysitter stop scum" my philosophy is this. A roleblocker is going to target who he finds scummy. In other words, someone who a town PR finds to be scummier than others. Which means There's a decent chance that they are, in fact, scum.
A babysitter is another town PR who is going to target someone that he finds towny
AND
thinks has a decent likelihood of being shot/being a PR. In other words, the babysitter, should they exist, not only has the same burden of hoping their target's alignment is what they think it is, they are also effectively useless that night if they aren't correctly guessing who the scum is going to shoot. In a game like this, where we have only hanged 1 person and it was a townie, the information there is very limited.
Based purely on the skill of a baby sitter and a roleblocker, leaving luck out as a factor, the roleblocker has a better chance of preventing the NK, I think. Sure, they have to have also picked the scum who was actually attempting this skill, but even with this in consideration (and in this case, FMPOV, emps fits the bill as a shooter if the partner had any amount of heat) I believe Occam's razor says you stopped scum last night.
I agree that it's more likely I stopped scum from killing than a babysitter, I just know there's a chance I'm wrong, but I didn't see a real benefit to sitting on the information.
I probably could've waited to see if there were more associative tells, but I think scum seeing that they'd got stopped from killing would tighten up real quick anyway and prevented that from happening. That's from my own experience playing as scum.
So you guys don't have to do it yourself, that means there is one of these three combinations of roles in this game.
Mafia One-Shot Strongman, Town Babysitter Town Roleblocker.
Town Babysitter, Town Roleblocker, Mafia Rolecop.
Town Roleblocker, Mafia Rolecop, Town Rolecop.
The reason my evidence is not conclusive is that there is a chance that there is a Town Babysitter in this game that watched over the person who got picked for the NK.
Nice
VOTE: emps
I'm inclined to believe this. If there is a babysitter they should crumb their target.

Agreed. They should crumb though in the event that they die.

Like you’re going to look at this and go “yah totally natural reaction cool thing boss”
And then I’m gonna come in, point out that I already called emps as one of the three most likely scum players and was one of the strongest voices against lynching THE ONLY CONFTOWN PLAYER WE HAVE SO FAR and then go “lol yeah mena reaction scummy”
