A bulge in Billy Pilgrim's sweater seemed to move around as he spoke, and then a tiny dog with an overly spherical body emerged from his turtleneck and began to yip and lick his chin, even as Billy Pilgrim had just criticized him. Hectic realized he'd never tasted scaled skin before, and began bouncing excitedly on Billy Pilgrim's shoulder.
"YIP! YIP! YIP! YIP! YIP! YIP!"
It was too annoying for Billy Pilgrim to focus his thoughts on a game that would best reform the incorrigible canine. Instead, he shook his head.
