If all town ascetics, getting to know who you can freely nightkill is pretty big.

If mostly all town ascetics, that premise is amplified as you have the scum ascetic kill the town ascetics.

Not to mention, you’ll be able to know who is worth roleblocking or not.

These reasons are why I don't think Pine would do this if he was a scum!Ascetic Enabler. It's just objectively better for scum that it stays hidden.

Pine doesn’t get good Will from the town

Ascetic's can still get night killed and can't be protected.

Scum already know who they can't use other actions on since there were two ascetic claims already before Pine claimed (assuming at least one of the ascetic claims are town, I highly doubt both come from scum tbh).

Pine seems more than willing to die here and doesn't seem concerned with getting good graces from the town.
