I don't like the Megatron wagon. Seeing how nolynch is the anathema of many players' existence almost everywhere else on the site day one, I can see why he would say what he would say.ShowConcussed by a poorly constructed title - how ironic. - Erg0

What other wagons are there other than the wagon on Megatron, shaft.ed and me? Of course I don't like my wagon, and I've already said I don't like Megatron's wagon, so by default, you should know the answers to those questions.Rishi wrote:

I agree with this idea. If we feel a deadline lynch is going to just be a random shot in the dark, then I'd rather a No Lynch. I know it's a little early to discuss my night action but I was curious what people's opinions are of what I should do tonight , if I even use my ability tonight. A lot of it is going to depend on the situation as we enter night, but I don't want to waste them and it may be better to wait til more information is available before I use any of my abilities.People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss Whedon- Claus

Also, I like how Alabaska has been opposed to the last two wagons but continues to vote shaft.ed for bafflingly weak reasons.
Inventor should consider gifting players with no other night-action (double-lifer, double-voter), but how much you trust any given player should also factor into the bargain (especially when using the OSNKI)Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.

While I agree this is optimal, I wouldn't make it mandatory. Pug's threat of being a Doctor will be very important in fending off scum NK's of primary targets. Of course being the Doctor could very well make you the primary target.armlx wrote:Pug, DEF give someone a 1 shot cop at the least tonight.
While I don't see anything scummy about maintaining a fairly low utility vote, I do find Alabaska's caution in the face of miniscule wagons a bit strange.Nab wrote:Also, I like how Alabaska has been opposed to the last two wagons but continues to vote shaft.ed for bafflingly weak reasons.- TheHermit

Lurker wagons aren't generally helpful in the slightest. Although last I checked, two votes didn't really qualify as a wagon.
I think No Lynch should be used unless we have a good candidate for a lynch, if only because it allows everyone to generate more of a record of who is using their powers for good and who is using them for evil. I would prefer a lynch, however, if only because in the process of chasing it we will generate more discussion.
I don't understand the Alabaska or shafted wagons in the slightest. Someone else is going to have to point out where those votes are coming from, because I don't see it. The Megatron wagon looks a little weak; I see where it's coming from, especially because the "dead man walking" comment seems like an overly emotional plea, but I don't see his comments as particularly scummy.- Megatron

Where the hell is what coming from? I think what I said is pretty obvious. In trying to find someone to lynch we will make arguments and accusations that will serve as a record for later. Discussing whether No Lynch is a good option won't have nearly the same effect. However, I would prefer a No Lynch to an uninformed, random lynch because at least that gives us one night's worth of actions to gauge where people's interests lie. I really don't see where your "interest" is coming from.armlx wrote:Where the hell is this coming from Hermit?

It's a complete 180 from your position earlier in the game. You even voted for someone for suggesting No Lynch.TheHermit wrote:

My support of this wagon has shifted from null to interested.slightjustification for it in a Smalltown. You're making it sound like I've decided to champion the cause of No Lynch, which I'll admit might have been caused by me putting words in the wrong order.
How's this: "If we do not have a good candidate for a lynch by the time deadline rolls around, a No Lynch should be considered." This is a more clear statement of my position on the matter.- Alabaska J

Nabnab I was indifferent to the TheHermit wagon before, but not against it. I didn't understand the Megatron wagon as it looked even weaker than my vote on shaft.ed (which, admittedly, wasweak). Your post about me seems almost unfair.
Also, I believe TheHermit's last post, as I had similar sentiments towards nolynch at the beginning of the game (although not as strong as his) that weren't expressed.ShowConcussed by a poorly constructed title - how ironic. - Erg0

You make it sound like No Lynch is a very valid over all choice, rather then a last ditch effort like it is. That is a massive change. You're making it sound like I've decided to champion the cause of No Lynch, which I'll admit might have been caused by me putting words in the wrong order.Away Wednesday the 24th through the 31st- Claus

Ok fine, indifference is not the same thing as opposition (I just lumped the two together for economy of style), but by publicly stating your indifference to the wagon you can contribute to its losing momentum.Alabaska J wrote:FoS: NabakovNabakov

And what's not to understand about Megatron? He hasn't posted game content the entire day, and even his technical content has been kind of sketchy. He doesn't want a No Lynch under the condition of discussion, but he doesn't create discussion. Doesn't that inconsistency at least deserve some pressure?
In short, I continue to find your standards of evidence to be massively wonky.Show"Shut up!" one woman shouted at another.
