Eh we've lost this anyways. I think we lost this D1 when Maki and Kaito were lynched. Then Bitmap getting lynched immediately after just killed any motivation I had left for this.
If they had stayed alive and Maki and Kaito had actually done stuff I'd have been a lot more enthusiastic about this. I also dont consider myself good at playing scum so I probably contributed to this loss in some way.- the worst

I really think if M&K were more active they would have skated by Day 1 and the chain reaction lynches of Bitmap and Aaron wouldn't have happened as quickly, making scum in a MUCH better position than they are now. They were really more of a default lynch for me because their main counter wagon S&W was obvtown and they had nothing that made them look town which is enough for them to die on Day 1. There were a ton of obvtown players coming out of their lynch Day 1, and Bitmap and Aaron didn't look great with an M&K scum flip.- AaronFrost

One of the plans was to have Bitmap hood M&K and have a svs hood. Obviously couldn't happen with M&K getting lynched D1.
Can't say much else without spoiling the final scum.

e had some pretty snazzy mechanical distancing plays between M&K and Bitmap, mostly - I'd rather not implicate the last scum *too* heavily here but they were very much a reliable/"can sit outside of random scum plans" pick. I feel either Bitmap or Aaron were very much intended to be the high endgame equity picks (given M&K, when playing at their best, are just holistically a really scary prospect). The last scum is a bit more of a wildcard wrt actual endgame equity, but they are competent and are a person I have a lot of respect for, so. :shrug: it works.
e very much lost the "powerscum" d1 here. the idea of scumming against a dunn/maria hydra is sincerely frightening. but most importantly, it's a player who always has a nonzero chance of being taken out by nightplay. that hydra generally makes a good investigative target; if either of maria/dunn hits lategame and are still null they're a pretty decent vig choice ftpov of being difficult to lynch + hard to get an emergency read on. i think you're pretty much on point with your call - losing the powerscum player before the {m&k,bitmap,aaron} anti-associative plays is what's swinging this game aggressively in town's favour.
