And actually writing out the branches of what could happen this makes sense.
If we heaven town, sure we get a judgment day sooner... but our odds of losing in that judgment day are, on the whole, ~1/4 (we'd have to mis-hell tomorrow AND misjudge in judgment day). And even if we hit town in the hell phase and then succeed the judgment day, which is obviously (i think?) worse than just hitting scum in the hell phase, we'd be left with 1 scum in hell, 0 scum in heaven, and 5 people alive, 2 of whom are scum... this gives us extremely good odds of winning because we get to hell someone and then judge someone, and if EITHER of those people are scum, we win, for odds of 1 - (3/5)(2/4) = 70%.
If we heaven scum, then tomorrow, even if we hell scum, the game continues and we have to avoid heavening the other scum... twice. If we hell town, then we go into 6 alive heaven phase with 2 scum alive and 1 in heaven... and from there we HAVE to heaven town, and if we DO then we get to a hell phase where we have 5 alive, 2 of whom are scum, and we have to get BOTH of those two people into hell to win.- implosion

Essentially, all of this is making me think the utmost important criterion is to heaven town today. Secondarily, it should be someone who, if they flip scum, would force the game to reassess everything... but that should go hand in hand with it being someone we are confident is town.
Basically I was thinking S_S or pops could be a good idea but I don't feel good about that anymore.
I want me or Ame, or possibly Looker, but probably me or Ame.- Team STRQ

i don't know if i'd really bucket myself in any given way like that.
my scum game is predominantly centered around emulating my town game in that manner, so pure style of logic/etc is a bad way to try to read me unless you think i'm emulating it poorly.- Elmo TeH AzN

We could heaven Looker, then lynch Amrun, then heaven Ame if both those flips went as expected"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

A computer program suffers somewhat from not recognizing that a player who seemed so towny that they got heavened has an increased likelihood that they would never get helled all game, even they were heavenproof.
But I'll do one tomorrow to check implo's math"Let us say that you are right and there are two worlds. How much, then, is this 'other world' worth to you? What do you have there that you do not have here? Money? Power? Something worth causing the prince so much pain for?'"

What do you believe is the way that you're most easy to read by then? I've been townreading you this game mostly because you remind me more of Coalition than Guns and Roses, but that post you responded with blurred the line a bit.

My limited view of the game says pops is more likely to be scum, otherwise I mostly only had a townread on implo and a somewhat townread on SS.In post 1059, Elmo TeH AzN wrote:

I kinda townread him currently but I don't know enough about how he plays specifically to be able to tell offhand whether him taking more stances this early in the game is indicative of either alignment, the setup, or the player amount/composition.

What is muddied about this slot? It would help if this was explained. In post 1030, Elmo TeH AzN wrote:
Your slot has been so muddied its hard to tell where any of your heads were. The fact that I was called an "alt" in this game by one really got under my skin. And no it's NAI. I have this undying hatred for hydras. Like to the point I want them dead in every game.In post 1026, Team STRQ wrote:I'm still waiting for Elmo to engage with me more, but I was not satisfied with their replies to me so far. The consistent annoyance about this hydra could come from scum trying to minimize a slot with multiple voices, and is harder to predict. That's the basis of quite a few grievance's against this slot from what I've understood, or at least one's that have been brought up to me.
So you think Looker-Elmo interactions this past page or so are T/T?
My issue is this why are there 4 heads of this hydra and all of a sudden it got quiet from them? And now picked up all like nothing happened.
I can't just rally up 3 heads at once for a comprehensive viewpoint on every aspect of the game, even though I can work toward that since you don't want to work with me individually.
Summerhead has been sick until literally the last 24 or less hours.
I SHOULD be offline right now tending to studies because I don't have spring break untilMarch 13th.
I haven't even seenRaventhe past couple days because he's swamped too.
Qrowand I have been discussing townreads but I don't think he has much room to post at the moment.
Part of why - I, at least - wanted this hydra, was that we all enjoyed each other's gameplay but I don't have time to commit to a solo-game. I don't think the other heads can as much as they'd like either, but I don't prod them about it. I'm not their gate-keeper, but I'm trying to see what their views are townreads-wise to solidify a decision both with them and the playerlist.
I asked you specifically aboutWooper-STRQwagons and what you think of your vote as opposed to other alternative wagons, but I still keep hearing the same"I hate hydras"phrase and it's discouraging because I want to sort you. :/
So no, I can't confidently place you as town and your stance - while I think it's genuine - reads as defensive.
Take the time you need, this is just a mafia game.In post 1039, Elmo TeH AzN wrote:I'm sorry guys. I really am. I just had a bombshell hit my life rather two. And yeah.

And yeah...S_Svoteparked for over 100 posts EoD… Not what I'd call a votepark, especially sinceS_Sdoesn't vote as quickly as many other players. Also, if you're going to discredit the vote, at least case why the vote could be a buss. The only voteparking I noticed was on theAmrunwagon.

And what do you think of the votes on Amrun that weren't present at deadline? {Ame, Wooper, popsofctown}Elmohas AtE'd at this slot this entire game as town and throw her in the townbloc;
I wanted to hear your thoughts onLooker-Elmointeractions... They're both a townbloc in your eyes but they don't confidently see each other as town, but you're not focusing on bringing that together more or less just stating that they're just town.
It reads as noncommittal.
I also wanted to hear your thoughts on the votes on theAmrunwagon that didn't stay at deadline. Half the playerlist voted forAmrunbut you're phrasing the wagon as if it didn't get traction at all.
That gives me the idea thatAmrunshould be further suspected or wagoned but that's occurred this entire game. This take reads as planned, if not mislynchbaity. I'm not convinced of your case about the read there, or your read ofLookerwhich you seem less confident in.

I feel weird at the fact that the thread are echoing the same townreadsImplo/Looker/Ame/Elmobut aren't exploring why other's aren't town and viable heaven optionsAmrun/S_S/pops/STRQ. This is a red flag.
I don't think either group is exclusively town by PoE.
Neither can be exclusively scum based off numbers.
So this isn't a consensus that's feasible or a townbloc that I'd want to act on.

I wanted you sent to hell yesterday. Wooper was not ideal but deadline and I was losing some faith and something about it didn't sit right with me. Afaik the votes weren't there when I went to bed.In post 1066, Team STRQ wrote:I asked you specifically about Wooper-STRQ wagons and what you think of your vote as opposed to other alternative wagons, but I still keep hearing the same "I hate hydras" phrase and it's discouraging because I want to sort you. :/
Right now there is not a person I really want to send to heaven but what can we do.
4 heads. Did I say you needed to confir before you posted. I didn't expect a comprehensive view point. Honestly I didnt need a run down of why you made the 4 headed hydra. Yes this is defensive. Yes I'll work with you on an individual basis. But my issue is I learned not to trust hydras a long time ago. If you want to work 1-1 sure we can. And your right we're just blocing people and they're isn't much to go on which makes this day they much more stressfulIn post 1066, Team STRQ wrote:What is muddied about this slot?
