I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”~M- Atarashi Hajimari

Also, the sincerity of the analysis seems hella sketch.
You say this, but you don't have a single solid town-read on anything in this game, and have multiple reasons to doubt people's townieness just right under it.In post 893, BP wrote:Off the top of my head the only scumfeel I have to say is maybe that the other scum was on the lynch wagon. I really wanted to play and sometimes a player has to bite the bullet. People have subbed for me before, so sometimes we all have to play a part in it.In post 899, Atarashi Hajimari wrote:
Then why did you?In post 897, BP wrote:*sighs* I hate subbing in.
Also, I only dislike subbing in due to the amount of things to read. I might have had objectively wrong impressions because even trying not to skim and actively read, it's tough when it's 36 pages of content with 13 players. It's mindnumbing at times. Which is why I don't understand Ico's jump on having a 'headache' at page 20.
1. I will have to read your ISO. If it's as you say, and if that was your intention, I stand corrected and you'll lean null at least.Atarashi Hajimari wrote:
1. Not only is the eqsy example of this just wrong, but you dont even point out the blatantly obvious examples of when Ico wanted to hop to the doobie slot last DP and I stayed on eqsy, and when people are hopping onto 72off right now and I'm staying on you. The fact that you ignore two correct examples and focus on an incorrect one is strange. In post 893, BP wrote:unwilling to join wagons. That is kinda scummy in my book because it reads as active scumhunting without the repercussions.
2. Moreover, this analysis seems weird. What reprocussion is there to not joining a wagon?
As a side note, what was your read on clidd's behavior this game if you ignore his flip?
2. There are always repercussions to joining or not joining a wagon, depending on how people are reading you. In this specific case, because I thought you were pointing fingers at one person and having the vote on another, you could have claimed innocence regardless. i e if the vote flips red, then you were right, if they flip green then you were wrong but you were FoSing someone else so you're able to claim that you were torn and lynched the wrong dude. Much different to have a tunnel on someone from whose flip you're 100% liable.
Does that make sense? Did I explain myself properly?I'm on a mission to civilize.- BP

Why is that bad? I'm mistrusting by nature playing mafia. I don't like people who try to lead. Town is usually clueless on D1. Maybe on a game with masons, where there's a bit more info to go on but even so.Atarashi Hajimari wrote:Also, the sincerity of the analysis seems hella sketch.

There's a difference between being mistrusting and throwing shade at borderline confirmed townies to keep mislynch options open. You also don't take a solid stance on a single player in the game in your reads list and sit on the fence with all but arguably Elmo. Given this statement, why do you list Ico as townish, as it was the one leading the wagon on you before this recent jump?

@ Ico: I feel like you are trying to make this into a hard game.
When you hear hoofs/hooves, think horses not zebras. Occum's razor - more or less, "the simplest solution is most likely the right one"

I agree with you but I hope you know there's also a difference between keeping lynching options open and not being too inflexible on my opinions on people's alignment based on 1 read on my first 12 hours playing the game. Cut me some slack I've only just arrived, all I did was give out some impressions on why I think player X leans green/red, but not too strict because I wanna engage with this people before committing. In post 904, Atarashi Hajimari wrote:

Will you still think the same if I change my mind on Elmo and/or Walrus, who are my strongest reads, am I not allowed to anymore?
By default. Again, they can change into a town read. What I was trying to convey was that
even thoI don't instinctively like people who try to lead, they can still vibe in townie green. Ico does. The only thing stopping me putting him higher in my townreads is the fact he's leading this. I'm wary of that because it's too good of a spot for scum.I'm on a mission to civilize.- 72offsuit

I was jokey at first here as well. I voted for coronavirus, yes. I then immediately started to provide my insight, however superficial, and got involved in a discussion with a player. That's what happened with the dandy mafia as well. It's something common to the three games.

Posts 587 and 589 are really weird reactions to the wagon on eqsy. First you say you find the lack of a counterwagon weird. Then you say if they flip scum there's nothing to be done because the game is wacky (again, I don't know why Ico didn't jump on this as well, like he did with my 'headache' comment - there's many of these).
Then you kinda go back and forth with the eqsy slot that seems approaching at a distance, like you're afraid of being connected. Post 677. Irks me, even if he tries to backpedal on 716. But again, it's a very weak one because on 715 he tries to establish a Menal + Elmo/Doobie scumteam.
738 is the lynch.
After this he votes my slot appearing out of nothing. Before, he put 2 people above me on his scumreads, saying I had a 50.5% chance to be scum (717)
After a while he starts to hardpress Elmo, even calling him the worst scumtell - 824. The guy who hammered scum, for having hammered... Anyways...
Then he says he had a scumread on Elmo the day before (which is true), but presses him while keeping the vote on me the whole time. That could be scum!72 trying not to deflect too much out of a bus on someone else. Says he's been scummy on both days but keeps voting me because I'm the smart lynch (when agreeing with Atari on 839.
Unvotes when doobie gets subbed. Checks out my meta, votes me.
You lean scum, along with walrus. I'd say it's one of you. Plus, you both tick my "was on the prev scum wagon" box.

I just drove over a thousand kilometres in the last 16 or so hours and haven’t slept more than 15 minutes in the last ~27 and I’m being held at the ferry port because the french government hasn’t confirmed yet that it will let brits go home
I’m actually doing surprisingly well considering all of that but haven’t really got time to play the game yet and prob won’t until tomorrow"we knew everything... And we knew nothing."- BP

It's important to note that I said you were null because I didn't really pay much attention to you, not because I couldn't read you. I said I'd ISO you before you voted me. The fact that your ISO reads scummy is on you, not me.
Personally, I think you'd do best to address the concerns I raised about your ISO than just assume it's a OMGUS and therefore none of the questions I raised were valid. That's just an easy way out.I'm on a mission to civilize.- Elmo TeH AzN

Sorry guys, been real busy at work dealing with corona-related changes in workflow. I hope everyone else effected all the best, especially doobie, get better. I think I should hit a lull tomorrow morning, and should have more time for analysis then.
Haven't had time to do much but skim the latest, my reads at the moment:
suspect list: BP, 72, elmo
town lean: atarashi
probably town: menalque
almost certainly town: iconeum
BP: you said something about me flip-flopping, which didn't ring true to me at all. What are you talking about?
Um, what? Walk me through the scenario where ico is bad please?By default. Again, they can change into a town read. What I was trying to convey was that even tho I don't instinctively like people who try to lead, they can still vibe in townie green. Ico does.
