I am only certain you and Mena likely are. LL reminds me of me when I was a newbie here, which makes him incredibly smart and hard for me to read. Crush is not active enough for me to townread. Same with Homura but if Homura votes scum, I'd be ok taking Homura off the lynch table.

I hadn't time to consolidate it before being swamped with schoolwork and emergency move-outs, but I was leaning that way. Also don't think scum!you is capable of the townspew in 1109.

But I dislike the fact that both you and Wooper are playing this as a dichotomy and throwing out tinfoils on partners with no explanation behind them, and instead engaging in a prolonged "no, you!" fight that's incredibly hard to sift through.

Back to the game: just ftr, I probably am capable of posts like that as scum and it’s not really a reliable metric by which to read me. I’ve pumped out fakecases that took like 2 hours work before to try and ensure a mislynch as scum

As to the point about me and wooper being in a dichotomy and that not being helpful. Yeah, you’re right, it’s not, sorry. You’re also right that I think it’s him whose done his best to force this and he’d say it’s me.

I’m not that interested in selling you on it being him who forced it to happen, but I can offer a couple of general thoughts on why this tends to happen, which is that when you feel someone is ignoring your arguments or treating you in incredibly bad faith then you end up feeling like they’re much more obvious scum than they may appear to be to the rest of the thread. Given that, you basically never want them to have the last word bc it feels like they’re trying to seize control of the narrative to make you look like scum. And obviously whoever is scum *does* have an incentive to control the narrative and have the last word, so they do the same thing. So even tho neither player may really want it (scum may not even want it that much!) it still ends up happening, sort of like the security dilemma in international relations

Ss to the “tinfoil on partners” — I don’t think it’s tinfoil. Not explaining in great depth is different to tinfoil. Someone tinfoiling would be suggesting me + wooper is the team. I’m just trying to speculate on who I think makes sense as a partner for wooper as for me, he’s obvscum and that means I can already start trying to sort for associatives and thinking about what scum are doing to try and win. As mentioned, it would probably look resllly bad for both scum to be hard on me from the moment I rep in and to hard push me like they did, especially given how one scum in (mena, wooper) things have become. But equally things are very close. Things being so close makes me think that the partner is helping to try and get my lynch, while I can also see the case for a bus if wooper is very confident he can get enough town to vote for me, so as to set up distance with his partner and to try and ensure a 3p lylo win.

Looking at the people on me, crush felt like he had a very weak progression into me being scum and wasn’t really open to talking about tit. I can see that as scum backing their buddy without explaining too much/over explaining it, which is what a coached newbie might do

I can only speak to my case but obviously wooper is going to say the same thing

I’m not reneging on previous town reads — or I am, but as a result of reevaluating as things go down, and based on what others are saying. E.g. LL. I still think he’s scummy, but other people are finding something town in him, I know that slots shitpushing me are slots that I’m predisposed to scumresd, and I doubt both scum would push me in the way he and wooper did simultaneously. So on a combination of those factors, I think he’s actually more likely town.

Titus is a player with enough range, I think, to be bussing here and going for the in in 3p lylo. It means that cheeky was doing some super early distancing which makes it less likely, but I just don’t want to rule it out
