I like to note when there are people who switch their votes because someone else has persuaded them to do so. I find it can help spot people placing votes that end up being scummy.

your town list seems correlated with the number of posts. paragon is 2nd after you, allomancer is 3rd. im low as I haven't been posting, and kinda shocked you didn't call me a lurker.
the correlation means I am not trusting of your reads too much at this tsage of the game

Shall I throw them? Nah, tbh I don't think I have any solid scumreads I am convinced of. I mean gun to my head I would say bbmolla, but that is mostly based on a very subjective gut feeling than reasonable or Dany with his last pop-in when mavs accused him of being defensive. But even then it stands in conflict to Dany's earlier posts which I liked and agreed with, so this doesn't really feel that much better. Atm I feel I am doing better with doing it reverse and look where I don't want to lynch until something gives me major pings.

Basically my response to the rest of the posts. I won't vote anyone ATM so if Bob wants to convince me of their innocence so be it.

Why? Game got a lot more substance after the first couple of page.

Several people saying Bob's conviction is genuine and there's no scumtells in anything he said. Tempted to sheep the consensus, but I'm still paranoid that Bob dropped the tunnel when he was amassing votes, and I'm not completely sold on his reasoning for doing so.

I'm not sure i love your summary of what the case is - The case is that in order for her to criticize me for feeling that Allo's potential towntells were fabricated, she would have to read allo as town. If she read allo ask scum even slighly, she would naturally also get that I thought Allo's posts were scummy and that those potential towntells were BS. But then she goes along and votes Allo in her next post. It stinks of scum going through and reading trying to poke holes and "scumfind" where she can because her two inqusitions don't match up to a single narrative of what her take on the game was as she read - she either thinks I'm stretching to make a case that Allo is scum or she agrees that allo reads scum

I can see a world where town!Skellen is more so trying to get a better read on you by testing your reasons behind that statement, rather than caring about her read on Allomancer in 121. I don't think the case is super valid.

Why shouldn't I question your reason for voting Allo while I also suspect Allo? I had my own reasons after all and bussing is a thing or even more simple, I might as well just be wrong with my read, I can't know prior putting on some pressure or questioning. I was asking for your reasoning because I am not familiar with Allo, I don't know his towntells (and still don't know in fact, only why they were bs to you) and it would give me more insight on whatever your push is based, after all I can still re-evaluate on my read.

Having just said that, I don't like the justification here. Feels like she's over-justifying, and the reasoning for trying to get a better read on Allomancer by asking to elaborate someone else's read on him is... less likely?

Scum wants a mislynch to go through so thay dont even slightly undercut there own push. Its not even something scum can fake as it work against their win con. Now that doesnt prevent them making posts that a town player would but there are attitudes that are largley exclusive to town.


In you see that tweet inst talkign to me as though he thinks im scum nor that he even thinks im town. That level of compilation is hard for scum as they tend to end up either side but not the middle.

I dont ask loaded questions. a load of question maybe but not loaded. Just a quick fire question. That i realy couldnt be bothered to rewrite. And adding amendment after it felt just silly. I assumed town your would assumed what i was asking but alas maybe not everyone is actualy on the same wave length as me.

What is it about Paragon's posting attitude you don't like as compared to mine? this comes off as "Tweet is towny because she seems uncertain, whereas Para is scummy because he's more sure." is this what you mean?

i'm not sure i agree that scum as a whole would be opposed to being uncertain and wishy washy about their reads/votes/pushes. if their mislynch goes through, they can point to not really having been sure about it. it also means they would have a wider range of people they can reasonably vote for. there are too many variables for blanket statement strategies like "Scum are more likely to have assertive posts and to stick with one push and go with it" to work reliably

I don't think I'm making my case clear - it has nothing to do with the fact that she pushed me on my reads.

The case is that for Skellen to say "what makes you think so that scumAllo is faking his towntells here?" has only 1 good response - that Allo is scum. By definition, if you think someone is faking townie posts it is because you think they are scum. You cannot fake a town post as town.

I just don't see a town player who reads Allo as scum as also pressing the only other person voting Allo on why I thought Allo's townieness was fake. I thought it was fake cuz i read him as scum. Skell also MUST HAVE THOUGHT they were fake because she was claiming to read him as scum.

Skells wall when she enters reads as scum doing fake scumhunting. That's the case.

Also - when pressed on this. her response sucked.

I think I like Allo the least so far. He comes a bit off to me, like he is walking a thin line between everything. He hasn't really tried to sort Para since he voted him and I feel he takes stances just to dismiss them quickly like change from mavs to Para or reading Dany/MT as TvT just to agree with bob's suspicion against MT (at least that's how it came across to me) like as if he doesn't really believe in them.

Caught up. I am now leaning more town on Allo. I still feel iffy about his beginning behaviour but going by his explanations about his stance on bob/MT as his treatment of his developing read on bob I feel I can get a grasp on his personality, which adds up with what he was trying to explain to me and how he ultimately acted so far imo. It also feels like an honest attempt to figure bob out. UNVOTE: Allomancer

i can say i like her allomancer read progression, it's similar to what was going thru my head at the time. 77 seemed out of place, but 79 showed it wasn't really hopping on w/ bob's logic and it was just a bit of a misunderstood post
