there's no utility for me in the setup outside of making the scumteam either work for their utility or to force them to give it up

gobble: out of the three you asked, I like Chemist the best as town.

I'm analyzing every player and I have reasons to scumread everyone, but some are much more compelling. I'd rather work with my towncore for now, which is Titus, Mena and you. After those three I like Bingle and Chemist. Then comes everyone except Gamma who is the last of the bunch.

That means Ginngie, Pine, Datisi and Alyssa are players I'd like to sort.

Alyssa: her vote on Mena at EoD was horrendous and the breakdown she had looked like both Maria and her were scum and being both the biggest wagons at some point made her mad or something; out of the four, it's the less likely to be scum.
Pine: Maria's "I wouldn't expect scum!Pine to go this low and yaddah yaddah", knowing that Maria is scum, makes me think he's her partner. His push on Mena is bad, and his catch up post is something I've already seen from Pine before. Then again, what Maria pointed out is true: I don't expect scum!Pine to do that kind of post, not because he wouldn't, but because he didn't need to.
Datisi: I still think his tunnel on Mena is fake and a way to keep him busy of the rest of the game. Like my tunnel on Gamma, but fake. Elected Titus as market owner when it was getting obvious that town would get it, and rather have it on obvtown than someone else. Tried to be the market owner with Gamma voting for him too. He was voting Maria the first time Maria got to five votes, but then went for Mena and stayed there, even when Maria joined the wagon.
Ginngie: wrong vote at EoD, sadly. I don't want him to be scum.

PB, can you try to look at it from my perspective? I'm trying to work with Mena. Instead I'm getting told that I'm SRing him for "???" reasons, which once I lay them out again I get ignored. I press forward again, I get called lazy and get threatened with a policy. How am I supposed to see that as Town "struggling to trust me" as opposed to scum trying to start a fight he knows he's going to win?

wrt your point on Maria, I didn't think Maria was scum, I didn't think she was Town. The wagon composition was ~fine enough~. I always preferred Mena.
