I disagree with a lot of your readswall but I understand a lot of it is an exercise in getting you to think, make choices, and flesh your own thoughts out.

This one I don't really get. I haven't played with Fire but I see nothing in Fire's posts to arrive to the same conclusion, unless his meta is to just not joke/post at all as scum. You don't mention Spiffeh. To me his part has been outright lackluster in that he's throwing out one reaction test after another instead of actually engaging with people beyond #184. This is plausibly how he operates, but it's also incredibly easy to fake as scum and a great way to serve as an assertive presence.

For Farkran: I'm not seeing eye to eye with you on the Cappy read. Can you elaborate?

Assuming the post restriction is real, i think hectic is efforting to convey a lot of content to the thread, i wouldn't expect to see that if he was scum. He also looks very similar to how he played the cult game hosted by kerset. These are strong town points from his slot, it's the read i'm most confident on atm. I could see a null read on hectic from you, but a scumread seems really out of place compared to our undertale experience, unless you think he is lying about his post restriction. We could explore that world in d2, given that he specifically said "for this day phase".

The posting restriction accounts for a bit of it, but my point is I expect Hectic to be more forthcoming with the ways his reads change. #302 in this game is insightful as I would expect from Hectic, but this is indicative of his observational skill, not of his alignment to me.

For Ircher, I don't see why that leads to them being a townlean.

That's good to hear, not only because you're likely the player i'm most afraid of in the whole playerlist, but also because i'm happy to see your passion is still true to the game.

Now about hectic, i think one of the main flaws of scum!him is the ability to produce consistent reads, and i haven't seen that happening in this game so far. Perhaps he has improved his scumgame, but i think the easiest explanation is that he's town.

I still want to hear pops opinion on the matter though, and silver bullet's answer to my question.

I am roughly here atm. Most reads are weak, the bolded ones are more solid. The general impression is that there's too much shitposting, and as a consequence i have many more null reads than i would like in a game at page 15. I want to wait until everyone has posted relevantly before reassessing, but i think i can work with latiguys and cappy town for now. I also like spiffy and i want to believe eragon here.

It interests me that insomnia REALLY wanted to participate in the event, although there was so much hype that any participation is mostly NAI.

I literally deleted a post when the /ins started thinking this referred to the main game. I'm salty.

I'm busy right now and will get through the walls later, but for now these are my thoughts, a bit abbreviated:

-Farkran is noticeably different than Undertale and I'm inclined to townlean here. I don't put a lot of stock in his insistence that his attitude is NAI. Undertale he noticeably asked questions with a goal of mostly either persuading someone else or hoping to find a weakness to exploit. There's a lot more generosity with his approach here. The circumstances are different but this is solid.
-I don't like Hectic so far in contrast. Hectic in Undertale was very good about showing his thought progression and explaining himself. #239 does not answer the question, which is what was wrong with egospray to begin with. The limitations for images explain some of it but I'm fine going here for the moment.
