I wonder what sort of game plan jjh would be instating actually. jjh is a player that I recall being severely dangerous as scum, I recall he carried a seemingly lost game. So his scum buddy would likely have to be someone he rates lowly on the skill ladder if he's trying to push the focus off of his game. So I think I just talked myself out of the idea of mastina and jjh being scum together.

By the way, this is a random tangent, but I will very likely never oppose a DDL wagon because he played an extremely scummy game in the canceled 50 player large normal but was town. So I rate his town capabilities very low.

Well that wasn't what I expected. If that's what I think it's supposed to mean you actually figured out who I am already. Might as well just say it, this is Gamma Emerald. I wanted to see how I played as an alt if I embraced the tendency to not do as much in alt games. In addition I mentioned wanting to play a way I normally don't, that's in reference to my experience in Perfect Masquerade, where I enjoyed playing as a hidden alt in that game, as well as writing posts in a more "proper" manner compared to what I normally do.

Now although I did enjoy that jape, I must kindly refuse that avatar because I would like to have one of the character this alt is named after. I'll continue skimming to see if one was posted in the thread, and if not I'll find one myself because I'm on a device where I can do that rather seamlessly right now.

I noticed gobbledygook gave me flak for this post. I really don't get why me deciding to out my alt on a whim would be a scum thing. If one person knows after the bare amount of posting I did, it's very likely to be completely obvious. Plus I was having to repress my urge to use meta like I tend to do, and so it was nice to have a reason to stop worrying about that.

Oh yeah, wagon me while I'm asleep, that's great. Don't worry, I'm used to dying early on both sides so I guess I'll just readslist and hope that I make sense. These aren't in any particular order 'cause I just grabbed them up at random:

SirCakez - I can understand the poke vote on me from town PoV, so that's fair. I don't... get the read on Elmo? So I'm kinda wondering on Cakez's reasoning there but honestly overall seems NAI.
Trojan - seems to be actually trying to to gamesolve so Imma say probably town, especially with the amount of detail they're going into.
We Are Not Helping - is not helping. A large amount of their ISO is just memeing, and while Trojan was also memeing a little and going on about my avatar, Trojan was also actually doing work. Over a hundred posts in, WANH has posted meaningful content in a tiny minority of them, which to me comes off as slightly scummy.
Baezu - I don't like the thing of posting reads without actually explaining those reads. While I don't want to OMGUS, especially not on a read, sheeping someone who said that it was suspicious to know that something was "Random nonsense" between reading it and properly analyzing it (???) seems like a bit of a weak sheep, and the rest of the reads aren't explained at all.
Bernadetta - Doesn't seem to be... actually doing much? Literally just meming around instead of playing, which isn't very towny from my experience.
FireMaPoka - does this player even have any posts? I don't think so, or at least I can't find them (PEDIT: Hey, I found out how to do ISOs without having to find an actual post by the player. Yeah, user has no posts.)

Shuichi - Not much to tell from the first three posts. I know as well as everyone that not reading anyone until you've had some time to think and sleep isn't a scumtell.

So on this side of the game, I'd like to see more analysis from most of the players,

especially

the ones who are scumreading players for no reason other than not having posted analysis yet (give us a chance, some of us are ill and/or multitasking. Also I prefer to wait until I have more to work with) - if you

have

got a scumread on someone, then you should have at least some reasoning to explain; if you

have

got the energy for a hundred and one posts, then post something useful. If someone doesn't have reads, I think they should get a chance to make some. I can tell you now that scumreading people just because they were slightly late to the party isn't helpful.

(Also, I don't always have the energy to do things, and seeing how much energy I put in earlygame be brought up as a tell is really disheartening. It's a longform game, I'll get around to my reads eventually.)

Seems like Jormengand still isn't posting so I'll go into the thing that most concerns me regarding the idea of him being scum: the FireMaPoka mistake feels way too genuine. I made a similar mistake regarding trying to sort a non-player (funnily enough it was Firebringer) and I just see parallels to my past self there. The RC blooper is strange but I already stated I don't think it's scum indicative.

Yeah I have to ask what the heck was going on here, I don't think anyone really called me scum up to here. And NSG did not out me "subtly", at least not as I saw it. I'm an Earthbound fan so I know what the Greek letter for Gamma is. That was a glaring indication she knew who I was. Lastly, what in Remnant does NSG knowing everything have to do with my alignment?

If you're feeling unconfident, you also have two other heads who you could bounce ideas off whose alignments you should be more sure of than Gobbles.

So I find this weird, because I really didn't think I was coming off as super serious. Especially considering that I showed confidence in my reads before this and defended them as well.
Gob's attack on this is also -yawn- obviously but whatevz since he's town. Why assume that my proposed leashing is a result of great critical thought in thread (which I agree isn't there heehh) versus potential great solves (likely if town and Gob's town)?
