And my excitement was and is genuine considering this is my first non newbie game in like 3 years. I was invited, saw the player list, and the proposed theme, and was very much looking forward to the game. My excitement was shot down as “not optimal town play” and I’ve lost my desire to be heavily involved this day phase. If you think you can argue that’s alignment indicative you need to re-evaluate your methods of pushing mislynches.Art is cool.- EspeciallyTheLies

FURTHERMORE you should KNOW that I’ve come to despise rolling scum. Go read any of my most recent town games and compare. Stop trying to use old as fuck irrelevant meta that doesn’t apply when it can be so damn easily proven. Gawd.In post 648, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:Mastina stop lying. My activity level has zero to do with my alignment in Any game as I’ve had very lurky scum games as well as town games. It’s entirely dependent on my personal schedule in life and how motivated I am to do anything other than sleep. Everything you e said thus far about why you say I’m scum has been flat out false. You should be ashamed. Come up with something that isn’t meta considering I’ve been on hiatus for literally years and the last game we played together was in 2016. Come on now.Art is cool.- Quick

Mastina, I find your ETL read problematic too.
ETL implied they love the rhetoric and argumentation in Mafia: so isn't the "manufactured tone" likely to be a product of playstyle rather than alignment? I get these attacks *all* the time regardless of alignment. How would you evaluate their progressions ans trajectories apart from that? I just can't understand why you have them as scum with that degree of confidence.- Auro

Auro I would say it’s more because my first reaction will always be to get angry and that’s something I don’t wanna be and don’t wanna ruin the game for other people by being emotional about every little thing. I am actively editing myself in an effort to be less unpleasant. Like, this is why I stuck to the newbie queue. I felt like I had the ability to explain myself more calmly there because more experienced players would purposely aggravate me in order to get a read. This is easily found in my most recent games. To say I’m scummy for this is a fucking cop out and a lie. It’s lazy as fuck. It’s an excuse not to read the actual words and points I’m making and determine if they make sense or not. It’s fucking. Lazy.
Pedit no you didn’t. THats how I felt after my interaction with ML.Art is cool.- Auro

I agree that those are generally town indicative, but to the extent where you vote someone for pushing them - Some players are excited and hyperpost as scum, no? Did you have other reasons to townread them?In post 542, Quick wrote:I skimmed the first 5 pages.
ETL looks pretty townie? High post count and is ACTUALLY excited. But now they are serious.
Okay, that is my first read. GLHF.Also where was the lie in this?

Mastina has even said she’s done this in the scum PTs. She’s part of the old group of people I used to play with all the time, and they would do this to me because for some reason they decided this was the only way to read me. It’s fucking irritating and all I wanna do is scum hunt and ask questions and talk to people. Not waste time shooting down garbage that is flat out provably wrong.Art is cool.- Quick

Apologies ETL but I do indeed see merit in pushing players who react differently when pushed as town/scum, even if it's irritating.
Mastina, have you been pushing them just to observe reactions?- Quick

Is No lynch a construct? I was under the assumption they were not based on their answer to me about it.In post 656, Auro wrote:

Okay, that is my first read. GLHF.
It's more about the ratio of posts than anything else. ETL had like 25% of the posts at that point, which is VERY high for someone like them.
Also where was the lie in this?

I mean, they're a player in this game (one letter is spelt differently) and it just seems like Elements interpreted "construct" that way, no?- Quick

They are an old school player. Games didn't used to run 200 pages and now they do. For an old school player to keep up like that shows what I said it shows. That it's very high volume for them and that they are excited to play the game.In post 666, Auro wrote:

Yeah, I am not really sure what you are trying to say here. I saw the post they are talking about. It was completely pointless. In post 668, Auro wrote:

I have been stating reads as well, why are they nonsense? In post 575, farside22 wrote:This game just gets weirder and weirder. You have player that read as utter nonsense. Like 5g, hotoc, auro, nl.
I've been responding to most questions thrown at me seriously: so why bucket me into the "nonsense" tier instead of attempting to engage?- Auro
