Today, you must vote to put one of the following Public Mechanics into play:

[Lightning Rod]
During the night, any player may pay 2 XP to activate a lightning rod ability. If successful, all actions taken by other players will be redirected to the user. If multiple players attempt to do this in one night, the player who is latest in the player order in the OP will succeed. All other players will not pay the 2 XP.

[Quest Powerup]
All items received from the Quest mechanic, whether they have been given out yet or not, will become stronger.

[Pokerus]
Training yields 2 XP instead of 1.

I think Pokerus is the best mechanic unless you want someone from the poe to take lightning rod every night

So over the night I did an association analysis on Knightmare to see if it would get me anywhere so I figured I'd post it even though I'm not sure if it was very helpful. Maybe someone else will get something out of it?

So it's between Quest Powerup or Pokerus.

I'm not sure what the demand is for XP right now. It's personally not important for my role but I'd be happy to consider Pokerus if the majority say that the increase in XP would be useful for them.

Ame will be able to confirm or deny this. But he’s a vig and he clearly didn’t vig anyone last night or else we’d have as stump and since no NK, perhaps he was jailkept?

Public Mechanics Currently in Play:

[Capture]
All players may vote to block another player using

Capture: Player

or HURT: Player. Once a majority is reached, the day ends and that player is captured. The captured player will be unable to take any actions (personal or factional, including Training) the following night, and if they are aligned with the Mafia, they will lose 1 XP.

[Quest]
During the day, any player may PM us to choose to join the quest. They may change their mind at any time. At the end of the day, if more than half of the living players have chosen to do so, the quest will succeed; otherwise, it will fail. If the quest succeeds, a PT will be created for the following night with all players who joined it, and during the first half of the night they must vote in that PT on one player on the quest to become the Leader, chosen by plurality. Then, the quest PT will be locked and the Leader will be shown an item which gives a special power, and the Leader must choose any other player on the quest to receive the item (they will be secretly informed that they received it and what it does). This does not count as an action. The Leader will also gain 1 XP, which can be used that night. Players participating in a Quest may still Train or take other night actions, as normal.
However, if the quest succeeds, the Mafia will learn who is on the quest and may choose one player on the quest to sabotage that night, preventing all actions they take and removing all XP they have. XP they spend or earn that night is not lost.

[Upgrade]
During any day or night, any player may PM us to spend some XP to upgrade their role. Each role has a different unique upgrade, and each role has an upgrade cost that is between 2 and 4 (and is known to the player). When a player upgrades during a phase, they will learn their new role at the end of that phase. Players who upgraded will flip with their upgraded role, but it will not be visible to rolecops.

[Disable Strongman]
The Mafia no longer have access to their 2 XP strongman ability.

[Gift]
During the night, any player may choose to give any amount of XP to another player. The person using this action loses that much XP, and the target gains that much. If the target dies that night, the action fails, but if the user dies, it succeeds.

[Lynch]
All players may vote to lynch another player using VOTE: Player or

Vote: Player

. Once a majority is reached, the day ends and that player dies.

Why didn’t Ame vig/stump anyone though?
You keep on talking about scum no kill but are not addressing Ame’s not vigging anyone last night. My results prove that someone other than me targeted him last night. Him not vigging points to some kind of likely jailkeep/roleblock, because why else would he fail to vig anyone last night otherwise?

I will also claim now. I am the vig. I had two ways of activating the lynch mechanic: (1) successfully killing someone (in which they become a treestump)

, or (2) being killed. I claimed only the latter part yesterday to prevent scum from roleblocking me. Additionally, knowing I was the vig, I felt safe asking for the vig to shoot me. I originally was going to shoot you, and planned to for most of the day, until Farkset became a priority. My goal was to capture one scum member and shoot another, hence why once I decided I was going to shoot Farkran, I attempted to swing the capture to you

I'm waiting for Ame to come and tell us what he knows before coming up with theories about him not shooting. So I'm focusing on the lack of night kill instead until Ame gets here

Well, we know Ali claimed to need eir XP, so didn’t gift.
Raya claimed to have used up all of her XP, so didn’t gift.
Knight obviously didn’t, so unless anyone claims to gave gifted Ame last night, evidence would suggest that the “miscellaneous” action I was informed about, did not involve a gift.
