5.) Majority = lynch. 50% or less = no lynch.
This is a problem. We have 1 week until lynch. Let us do more voting.

I really, really wish there was something meatier here to latch on to, because lynching Alabaska is only slightly above No Lynch in terms of helpfulness but I'm not seeing many other avenues worthy of exploration. My vision's getting blurry from all the re-reading of this game I'm doing, but I'll try to squeeze one more in after work tomorrow.

I don't understand why noone wants to vote Pug.

I will happily vote for anyone at all rather than no lynch but I really think Pug is quite likely mafia.

Did a re-read on Pug.

Early game: Mostly just commenting on theory.

Middle: One vote on TheHermit. Seems very agreeable. (Says, "This is a good point" quite a bit.)

Late: Mostly wishy-washy opinions on various players. No real stance.

And then this:
Pug89 wrote:The reason I voted for him because I felt is vote on me was completely baseless and seemed like a weak attempt to start a wagon on me. I wasn't the only one who found this scummy, both armlx and AlabaskaJ voted for him citing that post as part of the reason for voting him.
Yes, but there's no reasoning why Pug's vote continues to be on TheHermit. He talks about the suspicion in the past tense, but yet he never unvoted.

Vote: Pug89

Leaving for Quakecon today, tomorrow I should have all the free time I want to figure out what I want to do. Sorry about the lack of activity, I've been at work for almost 12 hours every day for the past 4 days >.< (because I'm going on vacation my boss loaded me down.)
"It's not a logical inconsistency. B can't be correct because then C would be, but it doesn't go the other way - there's nothing wrong with C being correct. Aside from Twomz saying otherwise." --Mith

I'm not really worried about his not unvoting. I think I'm still on Cyberbob. I'm much more concerned about his "but the cool kids were doing it" reason for his vote not being scummy.

Alright, deadline is approaching. People right now who could possibly be lynched (based on what others have said and the VC):

Pug89
TheHermit
iamausername
Alabaska J (back-up)
NoLynch (back-up)

unvote, vote iamausername

In this scenario, I believe not voting for one of those people right now is anti-town.

I don't see a compelling case of iamusername or TheHermit, though I will reread them. At this point I'm leaning towards a Pug lynch. Rishi still isn't sitting right with me, and I'd also be OK with an Alabaska lynch as it frees up armlx for Tracking possibilites although the lack of information and "safety" of the play would probably be somewhat appealing to scum.

I don't think the No Lynch option is viable at this point. Unfortunately, if it comes down to it, you're going to be the lynch instead of NL.

This is exactly what you did in Open 44. You kept putting suspicion on me without any concrete evidence until people started to believe you.

I should also point out that I was town and you were scum in that game.

Ok, I've been thinking about this, and there's no way the Hermit wagon, regardless of his alignment, could have 180'ed like that without at least 1 scum on it.

Rishi revoted Alabaska after staying on just long enough to not be associated with the main flood off. As such, I could get behind a Rishi wagon as well.

This makes no sense. If any scum "derailed" The Hermit wagon Claus and Alabaska were the ones to jump ship well before Rishi did.

Scum usually don't like to jump ship ASAP as it looks to wishy washy.

Well, I think I stated my reasons for getting on the Alabaska wagon.

As for jumping off TheHermit wagon later than everyone else, you'll see from my posts around that time revolved around a period of real life busy-ness for me. If you think that it was suspicious that I jumped off at all, then that's another matter. However, if you're merely suspicious because of the timing issue, it doesn't work. I was actually busy. I wasn't surreptitiously staying on it until the conversation about it died.

I just got out of a nine-hour shift at work and only got two hours of sleep last night. I know I said I would reread now, but that was before I was lying awake in bed until 6 in the morning. I'll try again tomorrow, I need to pass out now.
