I promise to follow Poe's law from now on.

That was a cheeky comment lmao. I was waiting for someone to continue the chain. I agree that Quick's.....
Quick
(sorry) assumption that active = Townie is too early.

But I don't think that usually comes from scum. Scum usually Null reads everyone so they can slide by without any resistance. And then "Null-scum" their partner in case they get lynched.
^this. There isnt much scum motivation to breezing into a thread, giving a quick townread, and disappearing. It felt careless/uncalculated. Thats why its a town ping.
I don't know about you, but there's a lot of motivation for doing that for me. It:
- doesn't take much effort
- shows that you have an opinion
While I agree that we were out of RVS, why wouldn’t you place your vote somewhere instead of staying unvoted? If you viewed the state of the game to be out of RVS, then shouldn’t you have formed opinions about players at this time?
I have formed opinions about people here. I just didn't feel like those opinions were strong enough to use my vote on. Now with that being said...

VOTE: Quick

I'm just not a huge fan of his constant sarcastic replies.
But is it scummy? While you may not be a big fan, as neither am I, I fail to see why being sarcastic is a valid reason to vote for Quick.

To me, this looks like GeorgeBailey is haphazardly throwing shade at Teacher without needing to commit to a scumread. They through out the possibility of Teacher being scum for a reason that’s NAI for the purpose of sowing doubt in the town. They say that they were trying to “prompt a reaction” out of teacher, and they elaborate here:
GeorgeBailey wrote:I wasnt expecting a static response. If he took it too seriously I would think that'd be scummy since I've seen scum act super defensive before over dumb tongue in cheek jokes.
However, based on the context of the first post, the second post does not make sense as GB’s response. The first post is obviously not a joke but a statement saying that they hope that Teacher was town. Therefore, by calling attention to the fact that Teacher is behaving similarly with their opening questions is only stated to manifest suspicion of Teacher and turn the focus onto him without having to do the legwork and find things that are scummy about Teacher. In the end, it would have been impossible to do so, as at the time Teacher should have very much been null due to the game just starting, so calling attention to something as “maybe scummy”, especially when they stated that it’s too early to tell whether Teacher’s line of questioning was an issue or not. It seems to me as if GB wanted to plant the idea that Teacher could be scum early on without having to pursue it any further and let Teacher react to it, when any reaction that Teacher could give would have been WIFOM at best and completely unhelpful at worst. Because of this, it seems to me that GB’s initial intent was to take a hands-off approach to the game, letting this run their course after provoking others with potential scumtells that aren’t really scumtells. This play style is usually done with malicious intent.

As a lesser but still impactful point, I also disagree with the town points awarded to Quick. You do a lot of talking and not a lot of reading it seems. I said that at the point I read it. Then I read the rest of what you were doing... so maybe there is progression there that you don't know about. But sure, assume I don't have progression and null read me anyways - that's cool too.

Like the aggressive push here, but not really seeing what you are seeing.

In all my games, I've rarely seen "casting shade" actually used by scum. In particular not as early as in post #17.
so is that a "Null" read then? I'll take that as a yes.

1. I already explained why i said I liked Marashu's post, in my post

2. If I find a post is alignment indicative and I choose to share that at the point in time, then I will state as much.
If im undecided then at least my post is there for myself and other to return to later on

3. I'm saying you can't just say someone is NEVER SCUM, i.e peg someone as being 100% town, from one's perspective, without explaining why to the rest of the player roster.

4. Deja vu from last game.
How likely do you think that scum is to chainsaw a scum-buddy with one vote on them in the first 10 pages or so?

I disagree with the fact that it was obvious, and I don’t think QQ was talking about everybody in the game. If he was, then that would mean that every person and their actions would be an example of their mind games. If not, then he couldn’t be talking about everyone. To that point, I was focused on my entry in the list, where he says “Poyzin says hi to everyone...”. If
everybody

Notajumbleofwords and teacher stayed silent, I don't know teacher

I don't know marashu

Quick, I have a question do you hate yourself? Can you hear yourself speak?

Tellin you that 'cause if you can't hear yourself then try this first, cup your ears with your hands to capture more sound, large ears and you hear more right?

Now try this face a wall and say a word to the wall, do you listen to the reverberation of sound as feedback?

Do you hear yourself? Are you looking for a representation of your projections? Or a fleeting sense of stability? that's present already if you know you can hear yourself, your internal ear that also regulates stability with your cerebrellum.

Quick you should realize that the vote count isn't looking good right now and instead of reacting start not acting and I'm not done with your earlier statement of playing around with the "I can do that too" persona of playing personas because I'm not going to ask you to behave or determine what's normal from old but do you have anything to lose or does it even matter to you because maybe it does only to you if you just heard yourself

That being said, what's the vote count.

Nobody is a spectator here Poyzin a crowd is not an invocation that you summon as much as two is a couple if not a crowd.

I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”

We both have more posts than you and I posted several times after you said I was silent in 160. What point are you trying to make?

Could you expand on why you think this is a bus?
Too much effort too early to be a real read. More or less.
This is lame. Town can put in effort early as well. You’re at two strikes.

(This is an empty threat)
Are you and 72 going to lynch me because I caught you?
This feels super defensive. I'm voting for QQ right now and am questioning you because I got an early bad ping, and I'm not liking what I'm seeing from you since. Every comment just feels really sarcastic or antagonistic and not really conducive to game-solving.

VOTE: Quick
QQ is Town. And so am I. Good luck with your game though.
That was a Quick townread. Explain?

I was responsible for lolhammering QQ. Needless to say I'm ashamed :P

It's an ongoing game. Is it allowed to post a link to it?

No, thanks for raising that question. TBH, he should not have discussed it at all in that circumstance. Discussion of ongoing games is verboten, and thats not a rule to toy around with.

Since you seem to be around, talk about your reads. What do you think Poyzin's interactions with Quick or Bailey? Anyone giving you the heebies (you unvoted, but havent really pushed in any direction). Do you disagree with the townread of QQ?

I like Poyzin's interaction. It was aggressive and moved the game forward. Townreading him for that.
I don't scumread anyone so far.
Yes, I feel like it's too quick to TR him.
