I'm 100% fine with conflicting reads. I'm definitely feeling that after some misreads in this game. What I am pointing out is your reaction to being questioned is calling your questioner scum rather than just answering the question. I don't see the value in that.

I think there is value in testing our own assumptions, hence why I wanted to ask you to explain your thought process around the claim after feeling reasonably good about you for much of the game. Immediately OMGUSing me because of that ain't a good look.

L-1 with intent to hammer. I couldn’t have found a more convenient time. VP Baltar was chasing you and votato was supposed have me as confirmed townie. Puppy was really the only person I felt who was a potential hammer here.

Pedit: @R2R: it’s possible that role is pretty generic description as “you target someone at night and see if they have fruit.” I was surprised votato did keep pushing that wagon after I unvoted but my guess at the time was that votato didn’t know what it meant if they didn’t have fruit. Also, not having fruit does NOT mean they’re not scum as a player could be scum, targeted by my complimentary role and I hadn’t tagged them yet. This would provide a false negative. So fruitless is NOT the same as town. But no one else responded to my fruitless question and he specifically mentioned it and had already been suspicious of midway so the fact that PR!votato would target midway did make sense. And I did imply I tagged midway, so I’m not quite sure why votato did continue to push here. I don’t know why he mentioned intent to hammer the only player that should’ve been confirmed town as well.

Actually, wtf votato? If you do have the “fruit checker” role, how did you pick up that I asked and know to give me an answer midway but not realize my unvote of midway cleared him? Also, wtf? Why the intent to hammer? You don’t have the role do you? And is anti-town/scum Quick is role fishing for it that same way he got Blair’s role out of her? Scum is the only faction who is as interested in finding PRs.

I hate the votato pendulum. Up until the intent to hammer, I had votato as DEFINITELY town. Now I have him as null but scummy.

Also, bad news for you midway.... if votato isn’t the fruit checker, that means you’re not confirmed townie (unless someone does want to say how midway bear is fruitless). Votato messing up my reads.

I’m a town disloyal fruit vendor. This means I pick one person at night to target and they receive a piece of fruit IF AND ONLY IF they’re scum. I targeted Dunnstral night 1 and midway bear night 2 hence 1298. Votato picks up on this and says midway is fruitless aka midway isn’t scum and votato has the complimentary town role to mine (by why the intent to hammer if he picked up on this?!?) This would make sense if votato is the compliment and was previously suspicious of midway to have checked him.

Dunnstral I did mention might be scum but easy way to check. R2R is basically confirmed town via the push of Gamma.

I don't think there's a normal queue role that checks to see if somebody has fruit - so you're overthinking with Votato

I didn’t like the hammer (as mentioned before) and didn’t really have a solid read. So my philosophy on night 1 was to target someone unlikely to be the lynch who could be revealed later cause tagging someone then lynching the same person is not a productive use of my role. That was the philosophy N1. N2, I had Quick thinking the same way but switched it after a re-read to midway. The midway read I felt better about. Also, since I had tagged two people, I felt I needed a way to let the complimentary role know who to target rather than blindly wasting their night action. So day 2 I needed some way to somehow let them know.
Tl;dr - I’ve been pretty unsure this whole game and wasn’t quite sure how to play my role but day 2 I played the long game and day 3 I needed to drop hints of who to target and find out how to relay info.
